If you do a Google search for 'dogs cats springfield', you'll find page after page of the MSM calling the story false. The closest to something sympathetic to Trump is "Haitian migrants eating pets? Here’s the even more serious story about immigrants in Springfield, Ohio" (link) and that doesn't take the dogs/cats story seriously. You can downplay that all you want, but such search results are what millions of potential voters see. Even if someone manages to find rock solid evidence supporting Trump's claim, it will probably just be a few incidents and it will be downplayed. (The video of a lady eating a cat is from a different city and she's apparently a U.S. citizen with mental health issues; search Allexis Ferell).
Focusing on the dogs/cats claims only helps Kamala.
The way to undercut Kamala is to focus on the wages and Big Biz aspects of mass/illegal immigration. Her base needs to be wised up about what's behind mass/illegal immigration: Big Biz' quest for cheap labor. Big Biz spends millions of dollars each year pushing for cheap labor, from H1Bs to field workers.
It needs to be pointed out that Kamala is helping Big Biz lower wages and bust unions. You might support busting unions yourself, but her base doesn't. And, her base and the undecided are the ones you need to reach out to. Her base and the undecided need to see her as helping Tyson Foods, McDonald's, Walmart, etc etc get cheaper labor. Even if they don't employ illegal aliens directly, the presence of illegal aliens in the labor market lowers the prevailing wage.
It's easy to engage her base on social media such as Threads and Reddit. You'll get blocked by many and called names, but if you stick at it you'll break through with enough people. Don't be hostile, call people names, or lose your temper. Just calmly explain to them who benefits from Kamala's policies. And, you don't have to spend much time on that either, just a few minutes per day.

So, by failing to make arguments that undercut Kamala to them - arguments they can relate to - you’re just helping Kamala.
They are not going to vote for President Trump
It was a bogus image. Those responsible for the image and hyping it have never been held accountable for pushing a bogus story.
If I got some help I could hold them accountable, but I’m not expecting much help.
If you were right, then Kamala would get a lot less support.
The fact is that the GOP/Trump campaign to hilight criminal aliens does NOT undercut Kamala to her base. Her base is immune to claims about criminal aliens, so making such claims only serves to help Kamala.
Decide what you want to do: help her or undercut her.
P.S. I opposed Kamala before, but after watching the debate I came to loathe her. Unfortunately, she might win unless people like you start doing things that work.
When Laken Riley, Nungaray, and others were being murdered by illegals, 70% of voters had immigration as concern. I was amazed no moderator asked if Lyin’ Kamala was going to continue with Biden’s immigration agenda.
