A deal in which you have to surrender part of your land to an aggressor, is never a good deal. Don’t ever reward aggression with any kind of surrender, because if you do, you will be surrendering more of your land to that same aggressor in the future. and before you know it, there will be nothing left to fight for.

The agreement did not explicitly call for the Ukraine to surrender significant territory

I am with you. It’s always nice to run into someone who agrees every Ukrainian needs to die.

“A deal in which you have to surrender part of your land to an aggressor, is never a good deal.”

As always, one side tires of dying before the other.

And they have to take whatever deal is offered, good or bad.

Japan surrendered land to Russia and was doing quite well until recently. Same for Germany.

Sometimes it pays to cry 'Uncle'.

So now they have lost 500,000 men in their 20s and 30s, killing their population in the future, their country has been thoroughly destroyed and the Russians are likely to keep much more of their country than in this peace deal of 2 1/2 years ago. Sometimes you make a strategic retreat to be able to survive to fight another day, and be far better prepared when it happens.

Yes it will be so much better to have sacrificed a generation of Ukrainian men and lose MORE territory in the end. That was the smart play here.

All this was necessary because of the Nuland Coup. This entire debacle is America’s to own. Our corrupt Biden was point man in Ukraine. Biden and his associates should swing from a tree or lamp post for what they have done to the world, first with Covid and then Ukraine.

We (Nuland) was the aggressor who started this with the Maidan coup soon followed by Uke attacks on the eastern, majority Russian Provinces. Putin put up with this for eight years while also saying Uke in NATO was the last straw. Then the West Deep Staters float exactly that idea.

Presto. A land war in Europe brought to you by the anti-American American DS.
