Wow! Nuland basically admits that Ukraine-Russia peace deal, which was close to being finalized in spring 2022, “fell apart” because US, UK & other Western governments “advised” Zelensky government that it was not “good deal”
X ^ | Nuland, the harpy from hell

even though even members of Ukrainian delegation stated in recent interviews that this was very good deal, best deal that Ukraine could get & “very real compromise” & that Ukrainian delegation celebrated it with champagne. She basically confirms statements by ex-Israeli PM, head of Ukrainian delegation, Ukrainian officials close to Zelensky, ex-German chancellor & Turkish FM that US & UK blocked this peace deal, which was close to being finalized.

So what about those graves chump.

Hey, dopey! Ask the Russians why Ukrainians have to bury their dead when they should have died at the hands of the Russians. Get your head straight!

I saw a video months ago, a Ukrainian that retrieves bodies from the battlefield , so the relatives have something to bury.

Hey, dopey! (Again!)

In all wars, people die and those left alive around them have to retrieve the dead and bring them home to their loves ones to bury. Geesh! Use your brain, if you have one.

What a gruesome task.

All burials are gruesome. It's not new that people have to bury their dead. Believe it or not, it's a fact of life and death. Get out of that cave and learn about the world.

He found a body in a dugout, burned to a crisp.

Did you complain to Putin about it?!?!?!?!?!

He said he hopes to find some sort of identification.

Even those not 'burned to a crisp' sometimes go unidentified. Ever heard of the 'unknown soldiers' at Arlington? You must be new to this planet.

The Uke government does not have time to do DNA samples , all too many of these families have nothing, no news of their loved ones, no identifiable bodies, they hope that perhaps they were captured rather than killed.

Guess what? Dopey!

All that's happening at the hands of Putin and his Russian soldiers, who are murdering men, woman and children with no regard to being humane about how they do things. Putin has never known humane tactics. Go there and ask him about his brutality, dopey.

This is the horror of war, far removed from the salons of Brussels and the watering holes of the media elite.

OMG! You finally got something right.

It's war!!! And it's not what normally happens at a birthday party, or at media elites meetings. Where did you learn those bits of common sense?

Meanwhile, homosexuals like Lindsay Graham say “to the last Ukrainian,” as it fattens his wallet from kickbacks.

Whan did he say that, and what kickbacks is he getting? Don't make things up, dopey. People who are not as wacky as you are able to think straight. You sound downright delusional and deranged. Go see a shrink, and maybe he can open your eyes to how this world works. Stop being such a moron!

We're not surrendering to Russia. Ukraine is.

When 'we' surrender a friend and an ally, we are in fact surrendering to Russia. Russia will not stop at Ukraine, and they've demonstrated that fact over and over again with their unending aggression in the region.

Ukraine is indefensible.

The Ukrainians would bet to differ. They've been defending themselves going on 3 years now. How does that sound?

A lot of the men left the country even before the war started to get out from under the thumb of the oligarchs supported by Moscow or NATO. A lot of them just left for better job opportunities.

Not anything new to how wars are avoided by cowards and those with no scruples and those that are never patriotic.

Ever hear of draft-dodgers? People going to Canada or claiming medical or special status in order to avoid being sent to war? People in Ukraine are no different from the Russians who also decided to leave before they could 'get volunteered' to go to the war-front. Why are you so uninformed and mindless?

If they thought Ukraine had a chance they would be flooding back into the country.

Wrong! That's not how cowards work. They wait until the war is completely over and it's safe to come back when they won't be prosecuted for leaving the country that needed them. Get some common sense, dude (dudette?)

However, their families are most likely telling them to stay the hell out of Ukraine.

No 'chit', Sherlock! Happens in every war.

So why is NATO persisting in fighting for a country that even its own people won't fight for?

So, for almost 3 years now, Ukraine has been holding off Russia with "NO" military men? Must be ghosts that keep coming back to finish the fighting.

Even Russian men don't want to go to Ukraine to fight, and their families don't want them there either. So, why haven't you heard that part of the story?

Could it be that the US is about global hegemony

Whatever that stupid phrase means...

when it should be about protecting its own interests and engaging with other countries economically and diplomatically rather than militarily?

Hey dude (dudette?). As the number one power in the free world, we have a duty to defend our friends and allies. That is a way of protecting our interests. We engage with the whole world, economically and militarily, and advance ourselves and our allies by doing so. It's not anything new and we've been doing so for more than 80 years since we became the de-facto peacemaker and world-policeman. Getting away from that would not be in the best interests of the U.S. or NATO or the world. Things would get a lot more nasty around the world without being there to stop the Russians and China and Iran and other hostile nations.

When the Soviet Union and associated Warsaw Pact dissolved, NATO should have been dissolved as well.

The Soviet Union never dissolved; it continued to exist under different circumstances and the Kremlin leaders, like Putin, always had the dream of reconstituting the Soviet Union, even if under a different title. So, why would anybody trust Russians with holding up their part of the 'bargain'? We, the western world, would be a lot worse off now if we had done the stupidity you suggested.

Think how much money we could have saved.

Nope! You are very shortsighted.

Think about how many more wars there would have been, perhaps even a new and more disastrous world war, if we had done things your way. The costs would have ruined the U.S. and Europe and Russia and the whole world. People with no foresight should never be allowed to disclose their stupid thinking.

How many lives would have been saved.

A third world war would have meant billions killed and not just millions like during WW2. Even if not a world war, the resulting regional wars would have meant many more deaths than during WW2. So, no, no saved lives, but a lot more deaths with your way.

If you believe that Russia wants to roll tanks to the English Channel,

The tanks wouldn't roll in. They would bring in tanks on ships.

then you need to stop listening to the Neocon propaganda soon

Who are these 'neocons' you speak about?

or else you'll be advocating for invading Cuba, Venezuela, Mexico, Haiti and every other country that isn't doing our bidding.

In case you haven't heard, those countries are not being aggressive with the U.S. currently, We have our differences with them, but not to the point of having to go to war with then or invading them. On the other hand, Russia did invade a free and independent country, which is not the same as what our neighbors are doing. Get the difference?

"Your grasp of history shows no actual understanding."

You are pretty arrogant telling someone you don't even know, that they have no grasp of history, and expect them to be lock-step with your line of thinking. I'm a long-time historian who doesn't accept the spin that the government and media puts on things, but prefers to look at actual facts, what has actually transpired through the years, and make up my own mind, not depending on someone to tell me what I should think about a certain topic.

"The US is more guilty than Ukraine because we put Nazis in charge of Ukraine.

I said basically the same thing, but you apparently have a comprehension problem: "[Ukraine]...signed on to the Budapest Memorandum, and willingly gave up their nukes for a promise [from the U.S], which has allowed corrupt members of our government to manipulate, and stage what goes on in Ukraine, ever since."

So, how many of our “defense” contractors and their lobbyists were privy to this deal?

When has it ever been smarter to surrender and be subjugated and then suffer the consequences of ethnic and political cleansing, which Russia has done in the past, many times?

The areas Russia claimed were and are majority ethnic Russian. Why lose an entire generation of Ukrainian men trying to hold on to territory filled with people who are not Ukrainian and don't want to be part of Ukraine? Oh AND very likely losing more territory than the Russians would have originally claimed to begin with. Saying "its the principle of the thing" and refusing to accept the loss of a finger....so you can get your whole damn arm ripped off instead....is stupid.

2008 - NATO did not extend an invitation to Ukraine to join. NATO never said Ukraine could never join NATO.

2014 - Keep telling yourself that, eventually you will believe it. The Maidan Revolution happened because President Yanukovych sold out to Russia. A few facts here the Russia camp never brings up:

1) Yanukovych sold the Ukrainian treasury to a Russian firm, who raided the treasury leaving Ukraine broke. 2) Yanukovych fled to Russia after the coup where he still lives and 3), the medals for the Russian liberation of Crimea were contracted before the Maidan Revolution. The medals include dates several months before the actual invasion, before Maidan. Russia was going to invade Crimea and Eastern Ukraine before Yanukovych was driven out.

Azov before Russia invaded - The Azov were founded after the 2014 invasion. The claims they were shelling Donbas come from the Russian side. The same Russians who sent Wagner and Igor Girkin into Donbas to liberate it whether the residents wanted it or not. Girkin admitted to starting the Donbas war in 2014. The war in 2014 was started because Putin wanted it, not because Ukraine was oppressing the Russian minority.

The Palestinians were never a sovereign country owning land. Most “Palestinians” were migrants or children thereof and were renters.

We (Nuland) was the aggressor who started this with the Maidan coup soon followed by Uke attacks on the eastern, majority Russian Provinces. Putin put up with this for eight years while also saying Uke in NATO was the last straw. Then the West Deep Staters float exactly that idea.

Presto. A land war in Europe brought to you by the anti-American American DS.

Ukraine was and still is a free and independent country. Putin had absolutely no right to invade Ukraine, even if Russian speaking people were in some sort of political strife.

while also saying Uke in NATO was the last straw. Then the West Deep Staters float exactly that idea.

That's more BS.

Whether Ukraine decided to join NATO and the U.S. and the EU encouraged the idea, is none of Putin's business. Ukraine has the right to do as it wants without Russia interference.

resto. A land war in Europe brought to you by the anti-American American DS.

A whole lot of BS in your comments.

The invasion was brought about by Putin and with the approval of the Kremlin. There are absolutely no excuses for the invasion. Putin had always wanted Ukraine back in the fold of the Russia Federation. There was no other way for him other than thru war or invasion. The majority Ukrainians did not want any part of Russia. Simple as that.

You Putinistas have bought the Putin talking points, lock stock and barrel.

Victoria is no longer relevant and what she did is history and the world needs to move on. But, Putin and his supporters will keep pointing to the toppling of his puppet government in Ukraine as one of the reasons for the invasion; a convenient excuse..

Your penchant for ‘pronunciomentos’ that you seem to think authoritative is tiresome.

Neither Nuland nor her coup(s) are irrelevant. She is a war criminal whose actions launched all that has unfolded in Ukraine the past ten years.
