Why is the USPS planning to slow deliveries?
That’s preposterous.
They should plan faster deliveries.
Is Amazon taking over everything? I ordered coffee, creamer, and new reading glasses and they delivered the next day.
I ship 100s of parcels with USPS each month (and a few with UPS) and they definitely have gotten slower. I may shift everything to Amazon. They do logistics well. And their rates are half the price of my discounted shipping rates. And I can lay off the people who pack orders and do customer service. Amazon also handles the customer service issues. So I can save money on shipping and reduce payroll costs - USPS needs to do better for America.
Unfortunately I like my employees. So I don’t want to fire them. Maybe I can retrain them to do Amazon prep.
All for three billion dollars in savings we are told.
