There was a company in California years ago that designed and was going to build a “fire-fighting airship”. But before it could be built, they went bust.
Not replacing, but complementary to, other fire fighting aircraft, FFAs have several huge advantages:
1) Enormous payloads of water, that is not just dumped, but can “rain out” a fire, a much more effective technique.
2) It can remain in one location to rain, or move along a border to greatly moisten potential fuel, strongly slowing down a fire.
3) It can VTOL on a lake or open water tank to rapidly refill its water. It has internal compressor and tanks for its helium, depending on its water load.
4) It can descend a wire guided fire hose to spray on a hot spot.
5) By adding High Expansion Foam to its water, it can rapidly generate vast globs of HEF to drop on targets such as buildings or parking lots full of cars.
Judging from their concept, just one such airship could save billions of dollars of damages from wildfires every year.
The rural areas need to be depopulated not clearing brush away to prevent them will drive up insurance costs and or burn people out of the rural areas.
Then come the Globalist plans like wind turbines, solar panels and reservoirs to supply the tech industry.
