figures of our time.
However, not everyone was thrilled with the outcome of this conversation. The UAW, a union deeply entrenched in leftist ideologies, has taken issue with comments made during the discussion.
Specifically, they have accused Trump and Musk of attempting to intimidate and threaten workers who exercise their rights to engage in protected activities such as strikes.

Ronald Reagan calling PATCO, please pick up the courtesy line.
Apples and oranges - no comparison whatsoever.
Joe Biden placed 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs.
Joe Biden reversed Trump’s executive orders.
The UAW leadership needs to consider the possibilities.
According to the UAW it’s a crime to say “If you don’t work, we’ll fire you and find someone else who will”.
So now its a criminal offense to opine ( hypothetically) that striking workers be fired….
Did twitter even have a union?
The UAW needs to be concerned with the Chinese car companies….
The pot calls the kettle “black.” What is a striking labor union’s Picket Line except mass intimidation, a show of strength meant to cow the non-union workers into taking the day off?
““When we say Donald Trump is a scab, this is what we mean. When we say Trump stands against everything our union stands for, this is what we mean,”

I’m not very smart, I don’t understand how a Union can file charges against private citizens? Where did they get enforcement capabilities?
No. Unions aren’t used to consequences. (Though they understand them fully on the other side “be with us or you’ll get hurt, wink wink).
You want to unionize, go ahead. And you’ll all be out of work because the company will be gone. That’s a result of YOUR actions, not MINE.
But unions don’t like that kind of thinking. They don’t like tit for tat. Intimidation for intimidation.
What do they think “go along with this contract or we walk” is?? It’s intimidation.
Absolutely - no way they had a lawsuit come to mind, take shape, and all the paperwork ready to make this announcement over night. Further - exactly what remarks did Musk & Trump make that could in any way be interpreted as intimidating or preventing them from exercising their rights?
The UAW lacks standing.
Trump’s comment was about Twitter employees who stayed at home doing nothing. How does the UAW even have standing?
And China responded by cutting off graphite that is needed to produce our EV's.
So, which one holds more sway? uaw or teamsters?
Hard for me to feel sorry for the UAW member when they are making about $60,000/yr without overtime or bonuses. I’m retired and living on less than 40% of that amount. Some illegal immigrants are getting more than that from the gov’t in the form of grants, subsidies, and housing.
Bunch of spoiled children.
They demand top pay and benefits for doing high school level work, turning out sh*tty, overpriced vehicles.
