According to a recent Politico article, on July 22nd they began receiving leaked documents from the account of a “senior official” within the Trump campaign. [Datapoint – That is a total of 19 days ago]
The Trump campaign said the documents were “hacked” likely as an outcome of a foreign actor, intending to influence the 2024 election. Actually, that’s a pretty smart move by the Trump campaign. I’ll explain why.

Well I assume that what they hacked was nothing more than boring office stuff. Otherwise it would be plastered across every front page in the country.

Yeah, after Politico waited to see if they were going to get anything juicy to hurt Trump with. As was said above, must of all been nothingburger material so now they do a CYA.
The media refused to release leaked DNC e-mails, going so far as to claim they were fake. And the Intel Community collaborated to give them cover.
Exactly, all if Trump’s “dirty laundry” has already been through the ringer so to speak and he’s leading in most polls.
