On September 28th, Marxist Judge Juan Merchan will very likely sentence President Trump to Rikers Island for one year.

Democrats want a civil war.

Story continues below advertisement The corrupt New York judge who is overseeing former President Donald Trump’s criminal case on Monday wrote that a Sept. 18 sentencing hearing for the former president will remain intact but made several scheduling decisions.

In a letter to Trump’s legal team and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office, Judge Juan Merchan wrote that he will rule on the former president’s motion for the judge to recuse himself in the case on Monday, Aug. 11. So far, previous motions have been struck down by the judge and a state appeals court.

Merchan also told the parties that he will decide by Sept. 16 on a request submitted last week by Trump’s attorneys that certain social media posts made by the former president cited as evidence by prosecutors in the case should be covered by a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling finding that former presidents should enjoy immunity for their official acts. Merchan is on the flimsiest of legal footing, and on every aspect of his handling of this case.

I look for Merchan to tread very lightly in the interest of self-preservation. he will attempt to maximize embarrassment for Trump, while trying to look judicially tempered for once in his life.

I predict he sentences Trump to:

- Some house arrest each week
- Trump must wear an ankle monitor
- Trump-travel pre-approval from Merchan required
- Huge fines

The legal system and the world will be a better place when Merchan and his ilk assume room temperature.

More to the point, President Trump will either be granted an Appeal Bond (as this is out of Merchan's hands now) or SCOTUS will approve an emergency writ of habeus corpus -- knowing that the SS cannot be trusted to protect a former President -- before Trump has left the New York court building.
