They need to stress the hardship that illegals themselves face with open borders - getting raped by coyotes and trafficked etc. and how an ‘orderly’ immigration system with secure borders will help the Hispanic immigrants as much as it helps Americans.

I am constantly amazed at how lucid and well spoken Vance is. The complete opposite of “word salad” Harris. She can’t string a coherent sentence together. Vance can go on for an hour off the cuff crafting a compelling argument that is well supported with concrete examples that are pertinent.

Vance was a good pick. He’s shown that he can recover and play offense after his needlessly offensive use of term “cat ladies”. The left will always find domething to use against any aggressive conservative. Trump used worse rhetoric from which he has yet to recover.

Too weak. This isn’t all about the illegals and their hardships. We need less immigration, not more, because most immigration is no longer benefiting the people who are legitimately here.
Actually, for a change this is short and it’s good to see how well Vance handles this. Normally I agree with you.

— Calling Christie “fat”.
— Calling Ted Cruz “lying Ted.”
Trump is much better now, but he’s had his bad boy moments.
Vance is VERY GOOD on his feet.
