Leaving an 8 month year old alone in car in Arizona.
On the last day of July.
Awful - and awfully stupid, too.
A 6-month-old baby in Louisiana died the same day after being left in a car:
So, two babies died in two states the same way on the same day. Horrible...
We need to outlaw cars. They’re killing kids. /s
I don't even take my dogs in the car on errands. And a car in sunshine can overheat in any season of the year.
Here's what happened in Lake Havasu, Arizona on July 5 on a 120 degree day. WHO TAKES THEIR 16 WEEK OLD BABY OUT ON A BOAT?!!!!!!:
Baby dies from heat exposure on family trip to Lake Havasu in Arizona
I won’t walk my dogs if the temperatures exceed 85 degrees.
It would take the intellectual acuity of Joe Biden to do this
Experts recommend that parents place something they value on the back seat next to the infant so they won’t forget.
Good idea. I believe dogs’ baseline temperature is 103 degrees and wearing fur coats as well.
My guess is either drugs or alcohol were involved.
Like their phone?
Prayers up.
“My guess is either drugs or alcohol were involved.”
Probably so. Cordes Lakes is a wide spot off of I-17. A lot of residents there have had previous conflicts with police.
Something lay value should be in the back seat so they won’t forget the baby?
As if the baby is not something of value to the parent?
What is wrong with people??????????
How can you forget your own child?????
And a baby can burn to a crisp from the sun and reflection off the water.
Apparently not when people think there are THINGS more valuable than their children.
I saw a video where someone recommended taking a shoe off and putting it in the back seat next to the baby. You will definitely want your shoe after getting out of the car.

MORE ON THE INVESTIGATION ON THE INFANT DEATH IN CORDES LAKES
After Deputies and the Fire department arrived on the scene, they immediately confirmed the 6-month-old baby was deceased. Criminal Investigations arrived a short time later and gained the following information. The child’s mother asked a neighbor for a ride into Prescott Valley, along with her 6-month-old baby. On the way back from Prescott Valley the baby fell asleep in the car seat in the back seat of the neighbor’s car. The neighbor was asked to drop the baby off with his father who would be home shortly. The neighbor arrived home at around 2:00 PM parked the car exposed in the hot sun and went into their house, claiming to forget about the baby in the car. The father of the baby contacted the mother around 8:45 PM asking when the neighbor was going to deliver the baby to him. The mother, still at work, immediately called the neighbor responsible for her baby, it was then the neighbor realized that the baby was left in the car. The neighbor ran next door to the father’s house and both the father and neighbor pulled the baby out of the car, called 911 and tried CPR. The baby had been left in the car seat strapped in the back seat of the neighbor’s car for approximately seven hours. The Medical Examiner responded to the scene to conduct their investigation of the deceased baby. Criminal Investigations has an ongoing investigation into the circumstances and will be submitting the case to the Yavapai County Attorney’s Office.
