Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who ambushed a stunned U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken during an early encounter in 2021 with allegations that America has a worse human rights record than China, gave Blinken one more political lecture on Saturday.
Wang told Blinken that China “does not seek hegemony or power politics” like the United States does, and it “has the best record among major powers on peace and security issues.”
Wang scolded Blinken on the sidelines of an Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) meeting in Laos, telling him the U.S. must show more respect for the Chinese Communist Party’s “aspiration to seek happiness for the people and rejuvenation for the nation while adhering to the path of peaceful development.”
“Both sides should work together to promote stable, healthy, and sustainable development of China-U.S. relations,” Wang said, strongly hinting that America has a lot more work to do than China.
“The bilateral relationship is at a critical juncture where it needs to be stabilized and improved, requiring continuous adjustment of direction, risk management, proper handling of differences, elimination of interference and promotion of cooperation,” he said.

Why? Why must the USA do that?
Oh really?
Then what is the purpose of the “Belt and Road” initiative..
Once again showing that Blinken is in so far over his head that he and the US are publicly humiliated at will by the Chinese.
Gee and I guess he did not want to mention the Great Leap Forward or the Cultural Revolution.
Blinken and Nod is a subservient quisling.
Blinken is their *itch. So move along nothing to see here.
Does that mean they will stop threatening to invade Taiwan and let Filipino fisherman make a living?
“Gee and I guess he did not want to mention the Great Leap Forward or the Cultural Revolution.”
Or the slow annexation of the Philippines
So we had a mostly peaceful surrender under Blinken’s watchful eye. Great....
I viewed Colon Powell thru both sides of the lenes while at State. Condi of which I “WAS” FONDI, but now not so much. There has not been a single SecState since Bush I of the CIA that was worth their salt; in fact since Bush I the CIA has increased the billets at State by 25%. Is it any wonder ever diplomat/foreign service member is consider a spy by the host nations. As Iran so artfully stated, the US Embassy is a Den of Spies;)
Under the DNC since Clinton, State has subjected DoD into a role for diplomacy and squandered America’s good will in the world. We are no longer a force for freedom, democracy or decency. The agenda of the DNC is pushed onto the entire world thru State.
Blinken is a latch key diplomat because of daddy’s connections. Usually when these second generation State Department types are employed by State, the IQ pool drops significantly. State takes one out of 2000 applicants, or at least that was number they said I was hired against. I was number two in my class according to HR and the gal ahead of me was second generation State. I take pride in that.
Blinken coupled with Jake Sullivan has been the recipe for disasters on top of disasters. Most of the failure of Blinken can be traced to the failure to understand that World Diplomacy has little to do with the US’s internal politics for which Blinken spends all his time promoting. Had Sullivan and Blinken realized their jobs had nothing to do with running Biden’s campaign, nor his public poll numbers they might have not pi$$ed off the entire world, to include EU who are the useful idiots in our wake. I belive our WAKE is approaching that of an Irish Waked....
how many times do we hear blacks say they was disrespecting me?
Same mindset China has right now.
