According to a Freedom Foundation press release, the organization has filed multiple complaints with state and federal authorities concerning the Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA) and the Democratic Governors Association (DGA).
The complaints allege PSEA “executed an illegal scheme during the 2022 Pennsylvania general election to surreptitiously use nearly $1.5 million in teachers’ union dues to back then-candidate Josh Shapiro’s gubernatorial campaign.”
Shapiro is reportedly under consideration as Kamala Harris’s running mate.

Payroll fraud entails serious crimes.......falsifying govt documents, misappropriation of tax dollars, skimming, larceny, check tampering, check kiting, billing fraud, payroll fraud, reimbursement fraud, pension fraud, misuse of tax dollars, theft of tax dollars, ID fraud, Social Security swindles, IRS fraud.
Message: Payroll fraud is widespread and easy to pull off with tax dollars.
There are several methodologies used, including

<><>issuing unauthorized paychecks, healthcare, bonuses, benefits and overtime
<><>enrolling fictitious employees in pension plans.
The govt fraudster simply sets up fictitious employees and arranges for them to receive a salary,
benefits, overtime payments, bonuses and pensions, even though they do not perform any duties.
The fraudster then diverts the fraudulent payments into their bank account or that of an accomplice to fund fraudulent schemes.

So,this is why Pennsylvanian’s receive the quality educations they process?
If this is standard practice for teacher unions,it should certainly stop. That is the same as saying all teachers in the union would vote for the same candidate & you jolly well know that ain’t happening!
Good teachers need to revolt while bad ones need to develop a skill like flipping burgers.
Teacher unions are run like hereditary absolute monarchies. It doesn’t matter what the membership wants. All that matters is what the leadership wants. And I should know. I was an involuntary member of a teachers union for decades.
It is worth noting that politically, the membership pretty much mirrors society. You’ve got MAGA folks, Bernie Bros, and everything in between.
But the leadership is usually hard left. The elections that keep them in power are so slanted that reform candidates simply cannot break through.
Will anyone go to jail?
Will there be a significant civil law suit?
Where is the feckless PA Republican party on this?

Most people if asked what are the most powerful non-governmental organizations in Mexico, they would probably answer ‘the drug cartels’ and they’d be wrong. It’s the Teacher’s Union.
