Further, the authors found that roughly 500,000 people whose “most serious offense was for drugs” were deported between 2002 and 2020. More than 47,000 of these people were deported just for cannabis use or possession. NO! Their most serious offense was entering the country ILLEGALLY and being ILLEGAL ALIENS. The cannabis possession was merely an added charge.

If cannabis abstinence was a limit test for immigration then half the immigrants from Latin America would be deported, including the legal immigrants.
