If I have any accurate arrows of faith or pragmatic hope left in my quiver, then I am correct in thinking that Donald Trump made this decision a long time ago, and the Vice President nominee has long known exactly what the plan is. If my “begin with the end in mind” thinking is incorrect; well, then we’re in bigger trouble than 99% of MAGA Americans can fathom. ... I’m not looking at the current landscape, I’m out here with a well-worn machete looking at where we are heading. And I’m telling you those same systems, voices and financial networks have deployed that same financial conscription effort for JD Vance. ... As these malevolent entities are dragged into the sunlight and revealed, we also need a steadfast partner grounded in something far more valuable than popular prose or catch phrase linguistics.
While Trump is tearing it all apart, we need a guide, a partner, a steadfast centered voice that will help our Republic make shame great again.

FReepers adding their preferred choice to the keywords will be disappointed.
So they want Ben Carson, for the black vote?
Dr. Carson would be awesome.
Carson is a nice guy whom I would not want to answer the telephone at 3 AM. For me, Burgum is heads above the rest.
Chose the most conservative VP who can get the ticket elected. That may mean a moderate GOP pick. It doesn’t matter. Get Trump elected.
I don’t see how any of those three help.
It’s going to be Nikki Haley.
And we’ll be told to walk through broken glass in November or else “The Dems will win and it’ll really be worse! Oooga-Booga!”
I don’t like any of them …Trump pleasssseeee keep away from anyone who served in the DC swamp ala Pence! They’ll stab you in the back in a heartbeat. I really like Vivek he’s a firecracker 🧨 I ’m rooting for him.
No, Carson would be a disaster.
Blacks won’t come out for Carson because they consider him a sellout Uncle Tom.
Meanwhile many White voters would stay home too because their needs aren’t being met. Politicians are promoting the Great Replacement.
I'd be very surprised if your prediction came true seeing that Trump has not invited Haley to the upcoming Republican National Convention.
Ben Carson’s my first choice too. Well after the impossible choice of Eric Trump...
That COULD be a feint. Trump is marvelously devious.
I think for the moral decency vote.
All this speculation is a waste of time. Trump will not have a second term once you set your unicorn free, reality sets in and you can concentrate on what matters.
Ben Carson would be a safe pick. DeSantis would be a better pick looking forward to 2028. What Trump really needs to do above all is to avoid disaster with the pick. Stefanik (social liberal) or Vivek (Hindu) would be disastrous. I think that he could survive with just about anybody else.
It’s gonna be her.
If you read Q-ball drop #345,120, Nikki Haley is a high-level patriot, descended from Washington’s army, who’s going to destroy the Deep State and reinstate Trump.
(60s Batman TV show theme music begins)
The pro Biden polls of a few days ago had Trump with 27% of black vote and 40% Hispanic.
He isn’t going to improve on that 27% number via a black VP nominee.
Out of Washington you will see an avalanche of speculation and recommendation — of people from the Swamp. It’s where they live so of course that will be their recommendation.
Trump is being uncommonly scarce with clues on this matter.
Curious how much this is solely Trump's decision and how much comes from Jr. and others. During the first term Trump was often wobbly on some issues and seemed to follow that last person he spoke with from way some reports came out.
I think that Trump will pick himself to be his Vice-President. /s
Ben Carson = too soft and slow. I don’t think he helps with the election, and that is the ONLY criteria that matters.
Burgum, Vance, Rubio won’t help with the election either.
Best choices now are Sanders, Donalds, Gabbard, or (gritting my teeth) Tim Scott.
The ONLY ONLY ONLY thing that matters is getting Trump elected in November.
Experience is irrelevant. History is irrelevant. 2028 grooming is irrelevant. The VP’s agenda and management style is irrelevant.
If we lose 2024, we are cooked.
