Sir Paul McCartney has wished his long-standing friend and former bandmate Sir Ringo Starr a “fabulous day” on his 84th birthday.
The former Beatle, 82, shared a photo to Instagram of the pair laughing together to mark the occasion on Sunday, which also marks his late father’s birthday.

Very well put! It’s a shame that more entertainers don’t follow Ringo’s example.
As a side story, one of my favorite comedians was Kathleen Madigan (not is, but was). Listening to her was like listening to a funny next-door neighbor.
Then in one of her routines she talked about how she supported Barack Obama. Ugh. I’ll still watch one of her clips on YouTube occasionally. But the bloom is off that rose. And I won’t be buying any of her digital concerts.
