Sir Paul McCartney has wished his long-standing friend and former bandmate Sir Ringo Starr a “fabulous day” on his 84th birthday.
The former Beatle, 82, shared a photo to Instagram of the pair laughing together to mark the occasion on Sunday, which also marks his late father’s birthday.

We have tickets to his show in NYC in SEPTEMBER .
Best Rock genre “groove” drummer by far.
Have a great time!
He was always my favorite Beatle.
looks SO much younger than Biden it is shocking.
He gets by with a little help from his friends in the octopuses garden.
I saw Paul in concert precovid. He played non stop for three hours. His next stop was LA where Ringo came out and played a couple songs with Ringo.

I know what you’re thinking. I had the same thought. Replace Biden on the ticket with Ringo. I just looked it up. Ringo was born in the UK.
So unfortunately he’s not eligible…unless we can find the guy who worked on Obama’s birth certificate.
Those two Beatles that are left are looking pretty good.
“Peace and Love” and whatever…..
He’s always been the best musician of all of them. George only had good stuff with Traveling Willburies because head down great musicians to work with. Paul and John, they should have quit making music in 1969.
Right!
PAUL does three hours without a break- amazing!
Even Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones, who is 80, looks better than Biden and is more coherent, and he spent the last 60 years of his life doing the hardest drugs imaginable. Funny thing about the hardcore drug use, if a musician doesn't OD and pass away in their 30's they seem to build up a tolerance or something and live to a ripe old age.
Back in the 80’s, my best buddy and I, at age 18, were amazed that old middle age fogies like the Stones were still touring. Fast forward to now, where I’m looking forward to seeing these octogenarians rock Colorado this year. Unreal.
Ringo and Paul + Pete and Roger = The Whotles
Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I’m 84?
You beat me to it.
Ringo seems to take everything in stride, and doesn’t take himself so darn seriously. Whenever I watched him with the Beatles he looked to be having the time of his life.
