President Trump should let the odious reptiles ruling the U.K. Know exactly where he stands by nominating dissident and ofttimes political prisoner Tommy Robinson as his ambassador to the U.K. This action woukd show respect and recognition to the citizens of the U.K. who are being colonized and impoverished by the communist government in London and let the politicians and establishment of the U.K. that the fundamental relationship needs repairing.

Furthermore, Trump should grant Tommy Robinson citizenship.

Tommy Robinson is a dissident for fighting for the rights of every British citizen and call out the hypocrisy of the U.K. government which has absolutely no concern for the rights and well-being of their people while actively replacing their citizens with foreigners.

The ambassador has to be accredited and accepted by the receiving nation. Not bloody likely.

If the Senate goes Republican I doubt that there would be any Republicans lying against it and it would force the communist DP senators to spend political capital fighting it. It would highlight the issue for citizens of American and the U.K. how evil they actually are. Politics is also about forcing your opponents to spend political capital on issues that are not strategic. Either way you should give them citizenship just to stick a finger in the eye of the UK government.

So what? Put Tommy Robinson in the U.S. embassy and have him give speeches in the embassy to reporters and he can meet with other dissidents in the embassy. Also, if the UK refuses to accept him as an ambassador then Trump has all sorts of levers to punish them; he can absolutely halt all travel visas from the UK to America, he can refuse military cooperation with the UK military, and he can kick out of America any UK citizens he chooses.

Then he could turn it on its head and make it clear that he will only accept Tommy Robinson as the Ambassador from the UK.

There is absolutely no percentage in pissing off half the British public by making a studied insult to their country. Having Robinson in the White House as an honored guest would send a strong message, I agree.

I agree. He could send the entire UK diplomatic mission home to that fetid island of oppression until they relent.

"Also must be a US citizen. Duh."

That is not a real object It is well within the executive powers of the executive to make a foreigner citizen.

I like that better, but the Commies are poised to take over, so they will try to send us some weirdo tranny as UK Ambassador.

I missed the part where the Obama admin asked for Libya's approval of the gay ambassador Stevens. Or is that why Hillary had him killed?

If Trump makes Stephen Laxley (Tommy Robinson) a U.S. citizen (perhaps that's not even required) I doubt Trump will ask England if they approve of Robinson being ambassador to the U.K.

At the very least, he should clear the path for TR to be able to visit the USA. TR made a mistake - but he should be forgiven. The man is a warrior.

I’d love to see ‘something’ like this for him, make their establishment SQUIRM.

It’s interesting how many want to meet him, freedom fighters from all over. When he was in Canada last week he met many, including Dr. Jordan Peterson.

TR recently had a rally in London - 10,000+ (imo) booing pictures of Pelosi, Obama, Biden, etc., with a massive cheer for Trump and “Trump! Trump! Trump!” from the crowd. It was great to see. I’d LOVE to see him and PDJT meet and shake hands. They’re BOTH hated by their respective establishments and seem to see many things eye to eye. The main difference is billionaire vs. working class Luton guy :)

Sometimes in international relationships, even with allies, you have to make them squirm and the UK government needs to be taken to the woodshed.

Making Tommy Robinson a U.S. citizen and ambassador to the UK would be the perfect in-your-face move to put the UK establishment on notice that they are jeopardizing their relationship with the U.S. If Robinson gave up his UK citizenship it would allow Tommy Robinson the perfect freedom to criticize the UK government in the UK without fear of arrest or reprisals.
