BREAKING: President Biden has decided to stay in the race after a meeting with his family on Sunday, and a massive campaign is now underway to support his re-election and silence debates about his age or worries over his disastrous debate performance on Thursday night. Backed fiercely by First Lady Jill Biden and his family, including his son Hunter, Biden has ZERO plans to step aside.
NOTE: Remember that at a family gathering yesterday, Sunday, the message was clear: Biden MUST stay in the race. However, it was unclear whether Biden would follow their advice. Now it’s clear he’s not going anywhere, he has decided to stay.
NOTE: One report even says that despite ducking tough interviews, Biden is now eyeing a town hall or a major interview THIS MONTH.
NOTE: The message they are projecting is this, critics may complain, but his team stands strong.
NOTE: Biden's inner circle insists one bad night won't end his campaign, pointing to his decisive primary victory and demanding respect for our democratic process!

Tall order that....I have very little confidence that can be achieved. I also have no confidence that there won’t be some massive event that they will create to pull something off that is completely outrageous with the result being that the election is effectively canceled. They are completely evil and will do anything to keep power.

If they have another debate it will be held at Noon Eastern standard time. Biden will get to sit down throughout the debate. It will only be an hour in length.
Joe will get to wear his sun glasses throughout.
He will also snort an Eight Ball of Coke about a half hour prior. He has a connection in the family.
They are doing this to force the terms Jill and Hunter are demanding, if they are to end the campaign.
I think he will stay in. No clear better alternative. However I predict a massive shift in Dem resources to the House and Senate. Biden is polling well behind his party. They will take the L to Trump and do everything they can to keep the Senate at 50-50 and hope to peel off the occasional never Trumper for the important votes. Similar strategy for the House.
It’s dangerous given the 24 Senate map but I think it’s the best alternative for them. Most of the possible Senate flips (MT, PA, VA, WI, MI, AZ) are trending blue right now. NJ and MD are interesting outside shots. Probably one or maybe two of these go our way, I would guess Senate is 51-49 our way when the dust clears.
When my father got into his 80s he became very gentle and pliant. I was his caretaker. If I had put the deed for the house in front of him and said ‘sign this’ he would have. I’d bet that’s the dynamic happening here except I was very careful never to take advantage - I doubt Biden’s family are the same, those people are sharks.

From an unusually good source: Obama’s tweet supporting Joe Biden was disingenuous. In private, Obama is telling people Biden can’t win, and he is therefore in favor of an open convention. Obama will not say whom he supports, nor as of yesterday afternoon had he met personally with Biden to deliver the message. Relations between the Obamas and the Bidens have never been warm. At times they’ve been hostile. But recently they’ve deteriorated further, mostly due to Jill Biden. In the hours and days after the debate, she kept her husband cloistered away from anyone who might convince him to drop out. Jill Biden is the driving force behind her husband’s reelection campaign, just as she was in 2020, when other members of the family (including Biden’s sister Val) considered him too impaired to run. The next generation of potential Democratic candidates understands all this as an opportunity and they’re circling, particularly Gretchen Whitmer, who is promoting herself aggressively.

Yep, 4 months is plenty of time to get a viable candidate up and running and with the help of the media make the ticket out to be awesome. Biden will hemorrhage support over the coming months and this will trickle down the ticket.
GOOD. I was afraid they’d replace Brandon with someone the dumb Dem voters would see as a bright, spangly new toy and rush out and vote for that person.

I never understood until recently that Michelle Obama was good friends with Hunter’s ex wife. That apparently Michelle does not like the whole Biden family because this. She literally wants nothing to do with them. I suspect she got the entire scoop from her friend how bad the Biden’s truly are.
I suspect it may be like the drunk who thinks he is fine. Biden’s mental impairment keeps him from recognizing his mental impairment. It is not helped when the people around him depend on him remaining his position to maintain their own positions.

With all the disrespect to Hillary that I can muster, Hillary at least got through law school. Jill’s Ed.D. is a joke as are most “education” degrees. (I speak as someone who has a Ph.D. in electrical engineering so I do know the difference.)
