One of the most pervasive justification I heard from women supporting the defund the police and nullify criminal codes movement was “I'm a mom and all I can think about what it would be like if that police persecuted person was my son”.
Which totally neglects the fact that defund the police was based on Democrat lies and in reality, very few kids of any race are actually persecuted by police. And those that were being targeted by police were hard core bad guys and violent criminals and gang members.
One major way this crime disaster gets turned around is that the moms who drove the defund the police movement start to fear for their kids safety more than they sympathize with the criminals. Unfortunately a lot of innocent kids are going to get maimed or even lose their lives in the process.
