What is she wearing?
Jill Biden arrived at the Élysées Palace for the state dinner on Saturday evening wearing an obnoxious velvet dress.
Dr. Jill has been racking up frequent flyer miles with multiple military transatlantic flights. She flew from DC to France earlier this week to attend the D-Day ceremonies, flew back to Delaware to attend Hunter Biden’s criminal trial, then flew back to France.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden is lecturing the world on climate change being the greatest threat to humanity.

Joe and Jill Biden participated in a state dinner arrival greet at the Élysées Palace with French President Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte Macron.
Jill donned a midnight blue velvet dress with an obnoxious white belted train.
Nurse Jill had to lead Joe Biden up the steps.

Velvet is and always will be a fall/winter fabric.
Fashion has definitely changed over the years. Unfortunately, it has changed for the worse.
Very few people still have that touch of class.
Don’t get me started on the people of Walmart....😅
I always thought I was a first generation American, but apparently I'm really not. My father was born in Holland and came here age 8 in 1913. My mother was born in Canada and came here around the age of 3 or 4. After my mother died I went to the village she was supposedly born in, and discovered family history that put her side of the family in New York State prior to the American Revolution. My 5th Great-Grandfather was a Lieutenant in the 2nd Regiment of the Dutchess County (NY) Militia. He is listed in the DAR Patriot Index.
My other 5th Great-Grandfather was born in Germany, settled first in Pennsylvania, and served briefly with Butler's Rangers, a Loyalist Unit. He and his family finally settled in Canada.
My 4th Great-Grandmother was the daughter of a Dutchess County Loyalist. Her family left New York State for Canada, which is where she was born. She married the son of my 5th Great-Grandfather, the Lieutenant mentioned above. The son had served under his father in the 2nd Regiment Dutchess County Militia, and left New York after the war. His father wrote him out of the Will. The family history I found in Canada claimed he left for Canada because the British were offering land grants to people.
LOL!! That looks like my old cat Timmy. He used to like to destroy a roll of toilet paper.
That blue fabric looks like a sling for a busted arm.
He looks quite stylish all right.
This dumb old broad makes me puke.
She got a lot of pushback from that. The ghetto girl
didnt grasp Americans dont want a trashy First Lady.
A slightly younger version:
Or it can also be used as a drogue chute in case grandpa knocks her into a spin.
The older I get, the more I realize that some people have no idea how bad they look in what they are wearing. Taste in clothing has certainly gotten worse over the years. I grew up in the 50's and 60's, and have always dressed conservatively, even in my youth. I also find that older women who dye their hair pink, blue, or put those colored streaks in their hair look completely ridiculous. It certainly doesn't make them look younger.
Should class that up with an Elvis paint job.
“Where did you get that dress?”

Never was “fashionable”.
You are correct. Velvet and fur are for winter.
However there isn’t a drop of sophistication or taste in this woman.
