Rapper's remarks come as media and Dems panic over black Americans switching parties to vote for Trump.
While in DC, 50 Cent also snapped photos with Republican legislators, including House Speaker Mike Johnson and Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.)
Rap star 50 Cent, AKA Curtis Jackson, says Donald Trump is resonating with African Americans following the former president’s Deep State persecution.
Speaking to reporters during a surprise visit to Congress on Wednesday, Jackson was asked about sentiments in the black community ahead of the 2024 election.
“What do you see among African American men in this election?” a reporter asked 50 Cent.
“I see them identifying with Trump,” he replied, while claiming he’s not yet decided who to vote for.
“Why do you say that?” the reporter followed up.
“Because they got RICO charges,” Jackson responded.
The rapper’s remarks come as the media has been panicking in recent weeks over Democrats losing support from black voters, with polls showing unexpected surges for Trump.
The “In da Club” rapper, who owns a cognac and champagne line, was in Washington DC speaking out for more black representation in the liquor industry.
While at the Capitol, Jackson also took the opportunity to meet and take photos with various Republican legislators, including House Speaker Mike Johnson and Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.)
Jackson has previously criticized Democrat policies destroying America including zero bail policies for criminals, Covid restrictions and skyrocketing inflation.
Don’t know if anyone else is a details person...
but look where placement of hand is in his pic with Lauren...
almost looks like there’s some subtle lean-in to bring the shorty to a closer pose...
pun intended $0.50
My gf accidentally bumped into (actually, RAN into) 50 Cent at the ATL airport. His bodyguards went into action but she was not hurt, neither was 50. “
She said he was really nice about it, gave her an autograph (”To the lady who ran me down in ATL, 50 Cent”)
A pun entered a bar, and shot 10 men.
One the 11 O’Clock news: “Pun in, ten dead.”
