Good one. When SNL was actually funny.
“I think chances are good that none of the jurors will find him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.“
Really!?
Do you live in NY. I do and I can’t fathom that the vast majority of this jury aren’t foaming leftist jackasses.
In the first few minutes, most juries tend to decompress and get to know each other by talking freely about the lawyers, the judge, personal comfort issues, the audience in the court room, the defendant, and the witnesses. The jurors then get down to business by picking a foreman and discussing the case. A good foreman makes sure that the discussion is structured around the issues and that everyone gets a chance to talk, even to the point of drawing out quiet members so that they are engaged and contribute to the deliberations.
Gee,I wonder what the common strain is here
Colorado Trump thrown off the ballot by 4 Dem majority judges and Dem AG prosecutor
Maine Trump thrown off the ballot by Dem Election Commissioner
DC Trump indicted and to be tried for insurrection before Dem judge with Dem AG prosecutor
Georgia Trump indicted for election interference by Dem Prosecutor
NY Trump indicted for business record fraud by Dem Prosecutor Dem before Dem Asst Prosecutor Judge
NY Trump tried for mortgage loan misvaluation by Dem AG and fined 380 million by Dem Judge
Az Trump team indicted for election interference by Dem AG
NY Trump suit for sexual assault by Dem plaintiff with Dem funded lawyer before Dem judge and Dem jury awarding 86 million
NY Trump tried for slander by same Dem plaintiff, Dem judge awards 5 million
NY Trump DC/Fla Trump indicted for Documents possession by Dem Grand Jury and Dem AG
There have been lots of complaint about the “ice box” court room.
Nothing would piss me off more than being a juror inside the ice box while this corrupt judge and Twinkies-Bragg waste 5 weeks of my life on absolute BS.
Boatload of prosecutors and the judge are lawyers, too.
I agree.
“Do you live in NY. ...”
No but I have a hunch that the jurors might want to “do what’s right” — see that the evidence against him isn’t convincing beyond a reasonable doubt.
Also, NYC has serious problems that might reduce their prejudice against Trump.
“Their personal character will be what matters.”
Imagine for a moment you are one of the jurors. You will be making HISTORY as someone who convicted Trump. You could write a book and become rich and famous, if ONLY Trump was found, “Guilty.”
The case is DOG DIRT, but you hate Trump and KNOW he’s BAD for the country. It would be your PATRIOTIC DUTY to convict, EVEN if the glove didn’t fit!
The weakness in our jury system is the lawyers pick the jurors based on how much they believe they can be swayed .. . or intimidated. Which jurors FEAR acquitting Trump because the Left will make their lives miserable?
I guess I’m not as cynical as you are. I’ve almost lost all faith in the justice system, but I still have some faith in the average American citizen, and that there are still some decent people even in NYC.
Jude Jeanine Pirrro (ret.), said the NY law says they can’t have hard copy of instructions which Merchan spent 90 m8nutes reading to them...
No surprise if Obozo and Dems own the lawyers and others on the jury. Dems have millions of Cartel dollars to buy anybody.
My opinion, they’re window dressing, trying to make it look like their minds weren’t made up from the getgo.

ditto
praying otherwise....
..but i didnt just fall off the boxcar...
I wonder what reason they have for that.
Not to worry..
Getting all the deposits to all the correct off-shore accounts takes time...
Communists know that patience is a virtue...
If there is a hung jury DJT stock will rip way higher
The verdict proves the Cartels control the Legislative and Judicial branches of the American Gov’t.
Boy that would have been nice.
“Boy that would have been nice.”
I honestly thought there was too much complexity and uncertainty to conclude “guilty beyond reasonable doubt.”
