“NATO allies are inching closer to sending troops into Ukraine to train Ukrainian forces, a move that would be another blurring of a previous red line and could draw the United States and Europe more directly into the war,” the newspaper wrote.
Journalists add that Ukraine lacks the resources to train its troops, and the situation on the battlefield has worsened due to the Russian offensives. Consequently, Ukrainian officials have asked their U.S. and NATO counterparts for help in training 150,000 soldiers closer to the front lines for quicker deployment.
The United States refused to send even military advisers to Ukraine urges its NATO allies to follow suit. At the same time, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Charles Brown thinks the decision to deploy military trainers is ultimately “inevitable.”
“We’ll get there eventually, over time,” the report quotes Brown.
The article notes that moving training to Ukrainian territory, as military officials acknowledge, would allow U.S. instructors to gather real-time information about innovations happening battlefield, potentially improving their training programs.

No they aren’t. Tell us more about that female medic, perhaps her name.
All we know is Ukraine wants this.
Not a single NATO government has committed to doing it.
The Russians will actively hunt any “advisors” anywhere in Ukraine and will send missiles their way if they find any. This idea is insane.
To little, to late, no troops left to train except those in the nursing homes.
Echoes of Vietnam. Only this time we will be in the majors against another nuclear power. What could go wrong?
Hoping it hasn’t been left until it’s too late.

No. That medic has not served in the US military (to my knowledge). In fact, she is a shill for the Ukrainian military throughout this article. Portrayed as a hero, talk of her bravery, and her appeals to Congress for funding, stressing 'her guys' need supplies fast. The title of the Business Insider article linked below indicates Congress is the one denying them weapons, apparently other 140 Billion in aid already given them, all the tanks, missiles, launchers etc. mean nada.

"Maciorowski told Business Insider: "For me, it's been especially hard to see my guys powerless to do anything but just engage in trench warfare because of the lack of artillery and ammunition."
SNIP
"Maciorowski said that Western allies seem to be forgetting the daily reality of the war, particularly in the US, which she's "so ashamed of right now." When they forget, Ukraine suffers, she added."
ransomnote: The article and her quotes indicate the Ukrainians had nothing prior to the latest gift from America; they were powerless, and reduced to just engaging in trench warfare. But, when people like me described those conditions leading up to funding, we were told it was Russian propaganda, that we were pro Putin for knowing this, and that the Ukrainians were WINNING WINNING WINNING!
Have you forgotten that North Vietnam was Russia's proxy? That our B-52s were being shot down by Russian G2A missiles? That Johnson wouldn't let our guys hit Russian ships in Haiphong Harbor? And what became of Vietnam when we abandoned it? Boat people, so terrified of the totalitarians they they put to sea with almost no hope of survival. Read Jim Webb's Lost Soldiers for some context.

Why did you make up that fake claim?
NATO is either a chartered treaty organization or it is not. Which is it? IS Ukraine an approved, documented member of NATO? Is it even an officially approved and documented NATO Aspirant?
This is like NATO bombing the crap out of Libya and Syria in Ubama’s “Lead from Behind” campaign. Just because there may be talk in the back channels, under the table or whatever by one or more members does not charter adherence make. More phony war and pocket lining.
don’t be a dishonest dumSchiff
AFU was trained up for 8 years from Maidan by the US/CIA/NATO specifically to oppose/fight Russia per the deepState/vampiressVicky program. you know this is true
Why is it a fake claim any more than what all of what you spew ?
“Ukraine was ruled by a Russian puppet before the Euromaidan. Then finally, they started to get their act together but they still had to deal with corruption.”
Looks like Ukraine still has work to do on “corruption”.

And maybe a real peace-treaty seeking contingent. A cease-fire in Ukraine is much more likely than a cease fire in Gaza.
I don’t fake anything which is why you can’t post false claims by me, which means you are lying.
The claim in post 4 is fake, which is why you can’t find the proof of it.
Post 17 mentions our training in Ukraine and of course Ukraine was an ally with us in Iraq.
you are a liar to claim post 4 is false
where is your proof ?
In retrospect, Ukraine needed the "practice" for the Russo-Ukrainian War 20 years later.
LOL, no the burden of proof is for the silly claim that GIs can and are receiving discharges at their personal request to join a foreign army and then returning as though they never skipped out on their enlistment.
It is a silly claim and the claimant never offered any evidence at all, much less something real, can you?
