VIDEO
Here are a couple of Eurovision LOSERS, in every sense of the word, from Ireland and the UK. Somehow Eurovision has devolved into a Flaunt Fest Freak Show in which talent has split the scene.
The funniest thing is contestants such as these idiots that have been supporting Hamas during the Eurovision contest would be IMMEDIATELY tossed off the rooftops if they ever ventured to places such as Gaza or Iran.

I hope the next Eurovision is broadcast from Tehran just for the entertainment of watching the Revolutionary Guards toss most of the contestants from the rooftops.

Far cry from the days of ABBA and their pop sound.

It sure beats the theme of that blasphemous Leonard Cohen song.

That song was sung at the funeral of my Son-in-law's Father. I cringed inside but didn't make a scene.
Why are we Christians so ignorant of the Bible?

I totally understand how you must have felt. I’ve even heard that song sung at WEDDINGS for crying out loud. BTW, for those unfamiliar with the Leonard Cohen song, it’s about Adultery.

I don’t blame Leonard for that, I blame the idiots who hear one word and think it means something completely different.

I Agree with you. It's a good song, but not for weddings.

Well since you broached the subject, I'll expound on it.
It is the story from the Bible of King David seeing Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah the Hittite at the time, bathing on a roof as he watched from the castle, then taking her for himself. King David then sent Uriah the Hittite to the front of battle and ordered his General to make sure he was killed so he could marry Bathsheba. Leonard Cohen's song presumed to glorify the orgasmic Hallelujah the two made together in their Adultery.

Yep.
So not appropriate for a Wedding or a Funeral. And too long for open Mike Nite! :-)

And then as I wrote that, I imagined that a widow knowing full well what the song was about, felt it fitting to send off a philandering husband.
Then I thought, nah, they are just ignorant of Bible verses.
