Well the blue states are going to enjoy the mass exodus of productivity in 2035 or so
The only possible solution is to have a Pebble Bed Reactor in every home for charging and a charging port on every parking meter in the nation..............
CW-II.
Not if, but when. Sad, but we all know it’s coming.
The world’s leadership(LOL) has gone INSANE
Yes because no way can the power grid charge up millions of EVs and still offer reliable electricity to homes and businesses.
In Europe, they’ll be outlawing gasoline by about 2050, which won’t affect most of us much, but will affect our kids and especially our grand kids.
And keep in mind that their schemes CANNOT WORK if most of the world sticks with gasoline/diesel cars, which is why taking down Russia (via Ukraine), and then taking down China (via controlling Russia’s resources) is so damn important to them. If they accomplish those goals, they will have everything in place and nothing to stop them.
The car dealers along the borders of these states will have a boom selling gas cars.
These will be shipped as used to CA, and other gas banning states.
OR they will be even more shocked when they have to buy a new EV battery for between $7000-$30,000!!!!!
🤣

A small Pebble Bed Reactor (PBR) would be about the size of a typical Central Air Conditioner unit or a small Generac.
They could even get rid of power lines totally if all homes and businesses had one.
Larger businesses could use larger versions and massive power users like steel mills could still have direct power lines.................
Wait until they have nothing to eat, because my farm like every farm in America runs on diesel fuel. I don’t see John Deere selling any electric tractors or combines.
I’m not the least bit concerned. As more and more people gain experience with EV’s, either personally or through their friends, public sentiment will turn against them as it already is. It will be a tidal wave.
Which means any politician which supports this nonsense will be booted.
IOW, the “coming laws” are as likely to happen as the repeal of prohibition was likely to NOT happen. The same cultural psychology is going on here. Enjoy your ICE vehicles. They aren’t going anywhere and they will make them for a long time.
Until technology supporting EV advances to the point where it truly is viable, that is. Then we won’t need government pressure to adapt it en mass. Just like the Model T.
See my post above this one. And I think you nailed it.
I think we are going to be moving to a new form of power pretty soon. EVs will still not be the car of the future. More likely hydrogen.
I think John Deere is exactly the type of company to require electric farm implements.
The movie opens on tax day.🤣
Let the hoarding of filled red plastic gas containers and bottles of motor oil begin.
that is exactly what I was referring to. Car batteries are no different than any other rechargeable battery, they have a rather limited lifespan especially under hard use conditions. And once the battery is dead.. the car is basically totalled since the cost of a new battery would be more than the value of the car.
Time to feed the pigs.
““If you like your car, you can keep your car!””
Good idea - great slogan..
It’s all about CONTROL and POWER which culminates in VOTES!
Since we’re responsible for equal OUTCOME in society, who gets to pay for the electric vehicles of the UNDERPRIVILEGED?
