What Values Are On The Ballot In 2024? by John F. Di Leo

We hear candidates talk about their values – their parties’ values – their supporters’ values – and of course, America’s values – all the time.

We used to be able to reasonably sure what those values were, by listening to their speeches and reading their party platforms, but it’s not always that easy anymore.

In recent years, particularly since the twin assaults of the sexual revolution and the carbon dioxide fantasy overwhelmed the Democratic party, it has been harder to get a clear reading on the values of that party from candidates or debates alone.

To understand the values of the modern Democratic Party, we need to look at the bills they sponsor, the regulations their appointees promulgate, the speeches their pawns in Hollywood and the mainstream media are allowed to give, and the subliminal messages they spread through textbooks and other coursework in the schools they control.

Only a careful study of these can provide the necessary understanding of the real values of the modern Democratic Party. Vote for a Democrat today, and this what you’re really voting for:

Windmills: The magnificent combination of cutting edge 14th century Dutch technology and modern Chinese slave labor craftsmanship, sold as an energy source but actually a net energy drain and acreage hog, a mass killer of wildlife from birds to whales, and a net transfer of American wealth to China.

Solar Panels: The delusion that drilling hundreds of holes in one’s roof to counter the entire purpose of the shingles, necessitating re-setting whenever new shingles are needed (which will be soon, thanks to all those holes) – especially in areas like the Midwest that have long periods of rain, cloud, snow and ice rendering them useless, could possibly be a cost-effective energy producer without massive taxpayer subsidies.

Pan-Sexuality: The promulgation of all forms of sexual license, from homosexuality to permanent sterilization, from birth control to abortion, sold to America’s youth as an enabler of a free and fun lifestyle, but in actuality a coordinated effort to reduce procreation, producing a sudden and certain reduction in population.

Unemployment: Intentionally growing the net total tax burden and crippling local, state and federal regulations to the point that most productive private sector workplaces – factories and similar tangible service production – are forced to move to other countries, greatly reducing the job, career, and lifestyle advancement opportunities that were once the source of social mobility and generational standard-of-living improvement.

Healthcare Destruction: After two hundred years of amazing medical achievements greatly advanced both life expectancy and quality of life, the Left’s commitment to zero population growth – or worse, to sudden net population reduction – has led them to support the active destruction of both our healthcare system and the confidence of individual patients in their doctors. Democrat policy today is to apply Soviet central planning to everything from insurance programs to hospital operations, from medical school management to pharmaceutical research and approval, aiming in fact for denial of care whenever possible.

Food: To the modern Democratic Party, this too is more a political/theoretical application than a segment of the economy or even a necessary daily human activity. Food is an opportunity to elevate insects above meat, to elevate unamerican tastes above American tastes, and to increase political dependence on government through massive intentional price inflation and the omnipresence of SNAP cards, WIC cards, and both public and private soup kitchens.

Mobility: Long a fundamental element of pride in the American family, the freedom to move around – whether on errands or work commutes or short or long vacations – has been named as a threat. Since the 15-minute-city imagined by the Left’s foreign superiors will never be willingly accepted by Americans, party policy is to back into it, by making all forms of transportation simply undesirable, unaffordable, and unavailable. From pricing gasoline and diesel fuels out of reach, to increasing the mandated costs in vehicle design so that both new and used cars are out of reach, and ultimately to mandating extravagant impractical electric vehicles as the only option, the Left is committed to keeping us where we are and removing our ability to move around at all. They can’t take away our freedom to assemble and travel, but they can and will take away our ability.

Housing: On a related note, home ownership has long been a basic element of the independence of the American people; this independence stands in the way of Democrat power. The Democratic Party therefore wages a three-pronged attack on this most tangible aspect of American life: unaffordable property taxes to render home ownership undesirable, high interest rates and costly appliance mandates to render home purchases unaffordable, and a standing invitation to foreign investors to buy up housing stock so that renters get used to having Chinese landlords.

Criminal Justice: The police, courts, and prisons are an opportunity to weaken the fiber of American society, by rendering them costly but inefficient, by prosecuting the law-abiding and leaving the criminal element to run free. Our lawless cities are the triumph of the modern Democrat; an environment in which the weak fear the criminal, in which the women must fear rapists, the elderly must fear muggers, the poor must fear gang dominance in the neighborhood, the shopkeeper must fear burglars. It all contributes to a society so afraid that the population will reflexively turn to government for protection.

Minority Rights: This should actually be the least surprising change in Democrat policy. From the very beginning of the Democratic Party, minorities have been set against each other for the benefit of the party’s current, transitory favored groups. First the Democrats enabled southern plantation owners to own black slaves, then they enabled southern landowners to acquire more land by breaking Federalist treaties and displacing the American Indians who were the rightful owners. Then Democrats encouraged discrimination against the Irish, the Chinese, the Italians, whatever ethnic group was immigrating at the time, in order to make their favored white laborers feel gratitude toward their Democrat protectors. Again and again, the Democrats have thrown over their prior protected groups when some new group showed more value to them, and so it is that the blacks became more valuable than the whites, then the Hispanics became more valuable than the blacks, then the gays became more valuable than the straights, and today, the trans have become more valuable than the gays, and the illegal aliens have become more valuable to Democrats then the legal immigrants. To the Democrats, a minority is a group to pander to, to con, to rob, and to eventually throw off in favor of the next quarry.

Education: A government bureaucracy, no different from any other except in its human cost. A source of campaign contributions and union power partnerships, a controlled farm club of school boards from which to springboard future state and federal candidates, an opportunity to indoctrinate children in whatever fancy tomorrow’s voters need to believe, from lies about the American Founding to Malthusian population theories, a ludicrous fear of carbon dioxide, and a hatred of energy sources that work.

Planet Worship: Subordinating the best interests of all life – human, plant and animal alike – to the imagined best interest of planet earth. A willingness, even a maniacal desire, to condemn humanity to sickness, starvation, poverty, whatever it takes, in order to show their fealty to the imagined soul of the earth.

Anti-Religionism: Since the theory that Divine Providence created the earth for the benefit of humanity is absolutely fundamental to the Judeo-Christian family of religions, the Democratic Party feels it must oppose religion itself, or at least, the religious heritage upon which this nation – and Western Civilization itself – was founded. As long as the modern Left serves the earth, they believe they must oppose a worldview that says the earth is here to serve the people and animals who live upon it.

These are the values of today’s Democratic Party. And whether the candidate admits it or not, these are the theories and approaches that its candidates will promulgate if elected.

Even when an individual Democrat candidate claims to oppose any of these destructive positions, once elected, they will vote for the Democrat choices for Speaker and Majority Leader, and their executives will appoint advocates of this worldview to lead departments, agencies, and commissions. Their judges will apply these theories in their civil and criminal cases, whether the law supports it or not.

This is what America faces today.

And if these aren’t your values, it is time to choose sides and let your voice be heard.

Which values are on the ballot?

Liberty, justice and the American Way on one side vs depravity, immorality, sexual perversion, totalitarian communism and the iron boot of government on our necks on the other.
