The Cargo Ship that struck and destroyed The Francis Scott Key bridge in Baltimore, Maryland appears to have lost power twice before impact with the bridge.
The ship’s lights then blink back on right before it hits the bridge support.
Here is the video.

Via Monica Crowley:
The Francis Scott Key Bridge has collapsed into Baltimore Harbor after a cargo ship apparently lost power twice and collided with it at 1:30am ET.
Two rescued, at least 7 people missing. Prayers up 🙏

Sorta like the Biden Clown show - lost their lights and steered us into CW-II (coming soon to your town).
Watching the video it almost looks intentional!
There’s no evidence as of yet that this was a deliberate act.
But now that the Feds are involved we will most likely never know the truth.

Look at what was done after the Sunshine Skyway was hit in Florida.
Maryland could have done similar.

Maryland chose not to do anything.
How long before the Russians get blamed?
I’ll wager the ‘stories’ are already being written.
I would not like to think that this was done on purpose. The problem is, with all the crap That’s going on in this world right now, where it seems that nobody can trust anybody (especially governments)for anything, I’m not really surprised that there are people who think this was planned to happen.
There is a shipping channel video on Youtube that showed the ship’s tracking info, that showed it started slowing down as it tried to respond to the power outage. I think they got one anchor down before they hit, but it was still moving around 7.6 knots when it impacted.
I’m thinking Psyop of some sorts. Consider the bridge name, in relation to the national anthem. Consider that the port of baltimore is now shut to all traffic, until this is cleared. Consider ships stuck at port. Consider ships outside port, patiently awaiting clearance to enter.
News says it was going at a very low rate of speed, which in my limited experience captaining a boat in a harbor is correct. But drift from sea currents are unpredictable and worse without power to correct the glide path. Prayers for the workers on that bridge.
As an aside, one would think a campaign can be built around this theme: trains derail, planes blow open in the sky, boats crash into bridges… who the heck is in charge in this country? Where are the adults in charge? Bunch of grifters in DC.
What are the chances that the bridge will still be The Francis Scott Key bridge after rebuilding? It wouldn’t be surprising if it’s renamed something like The Anti-Oppression and Social Bridge to Economic Justice, or some other nonsense.

It’d be easier and as effective, l’d think, to use mud dredged from the channel to build up shoals around the piers so that large vessels like that would ground before hitting it.
I'd use slightly different logic here:
There’s no evidence as of yet that this was a deliberate act. But now that the Feds are involved we can now be assured this was a deliberate act.
All I know about Baltimore, including Patapsco, comes from watching The Wire.
The George Floyd Memorial Bridge.......................
Good on them for trying to warn.
Notice the circular "marine bollards" protecting the bridge piers and columns against ships. This feature was included because the bridge was reconstructed after a ship collision in the late 1970s.
On the video I didn’t see any car or truck lights moving along on that part of the bridge.
Good on them for trying to warn.
I think some cars plunged off the ends of the roadways after the collapse...............
Sal does a good job covering the shipping industry.
