LOL!

In my house everything turned out to be my fault. So, when Russia invaded Ukraine (the first time) I turned to my husband and said "I'm sorry"

Biden just now said the government would pay the ENTIRE cost to rebuild the bridge. He deflected a question about possible liability of the ship etc.

WTH?!

Well done bridge workers.

“… a cargo ship minutes into a 27-day journey loses power while in port but with not enough time to take corrective action”

Indeed. Things that make you go “hmmm.”

Minutes earlier it might have run aground. Minutes later no problem. But this precise timing?

Nineteen young men from Saudi Arabia take flight lessons and learn how to take off but not land. Then they crash airliners into skyscrapers in NYC.

Nah, could never happen. That’s just preposterous thinking. Completely schizo.

FL put concrete buttresses around their bridge supports after a similar accident last century. I guess Baltimore was too busy grifting to take care of this.

Think about the things that have happened in the last month or so, AT&T cell service went down for a number of hours, Facebook and Instagram when offline for a few hours, United Airlines can’t seem to get planes to fly no a cargo ship loses power right when it’s going under a bridge.

The government has publicly warned the county of a massive cyber-attack, today’s events could all be a coincidence, I’m not discounting anything at this point.

Biden claims to have taken the TRAIN over the Francis Scott Key bridge!
Says he has been over the bridge "many many times commuting from the state of Delaware either by train or by car."

The bridge had only four lanes of traffic and no rail lines. pic.twitter.com/sB6Odzsr7i— Brick Suit (@Brick_Suit) March 26, 2024

Most container ships of that size have large slow speed engines. I believe this ship has a MAN B&W slow speed - possibly a ME series engine. These are large cross-head type diesel engines. Some actually have generators driven off the shaft and a controllable pitch propeller.

There are a lot of large cruise ships that are Diesel Electric drive.

Possibly a generator tripped off-line and overloaded other generators on-line causing them to trip as well.

Looking at the webcam video it looked like that was inevitable eventually. I don’t know maritime procedures but it would seem to me all engines, including the backup generator, would be running into and out of port. Just like flying a turboprop, you keep the ignitors on during take off and landing and a few other conditions.

Just like the East Palestine train explosion. It was all Trump’s fault for not spending enough money.
