Tips from the Glendale Police Department:
- Hardwire security cameras
- Install better gates and outdoor lighting
- Keep extra batteries for cameras
- Lock second-floor windows and doors
- Have a trusted neighbor watch your home when you're away

I got an old-timey 8 camera WIRED system just for this reason. 160.00 for the 4 camera unit with a 1TB HD and you can get extra cams but I just got two complete units so as to have a backup.
It’s a pain to route the tiny coax but I don’t care. It carries dc power for the cams and the video signal as 1080p NTSC. brand is SANSCO on Amazon
You can also get systems that use CAT6 cabling and do POE so the CAT6 carries the power for the cams and the video feed.

Wired alarms and cameras in my house.
Lexan reinforced windows. Discrete bars and trellises that work like bars on vulnerable windows. Rose bushes.
Metal door frames and smash proof doors.
Assay Alboy locks. Various additional supports and things like metal screen doors that are really bars but look like screens.
Screens are security screens from Australia.
Commercial garage doors that can’t be easily pried.
2 Dobermans.
Various firearms.

Bad actors relying on Chinese signal jammers?
The MO the past few years for disabling any residential cameras and alarms systems has been to pull the electric meter.

I build hardwired intrusion detectors that use your landline to dial your cellphone and turn on a camera, in conjunction with a separate redundant gigahz video/audio transmitter that calls you on a separate ghz a/v receiver range up to 30 miles and a separate alert intrusion Mhz transmitter/receiver pair 3 mile range which can have up to 10 or more family members with alert receivers/.. it can give biometric signatures of the intruders....if`n they hack your wifi or landline...just sayin`..it`s triple redundant...
