New York Attorney General Letitia James reportedly has three ways to collect $454 million if former President Donald Trump does not post a bond to cover a civil fraud judgment by Monday.
If Trump’s Monday appeal fails to reduce or hold off James from collecting the bond amount, she would have the power to go after the former president’s cash and real estate holdings. “We are prepared to make sure that the judgment is paid to New Yorkers,” James told ABC News in February.
To stave off James’ tactics, Trump must post a liquid (cash, securities) bond covering the full amount of the judgment to pause enforcement of the judgment, but 30 surety companies told Trump they would not accept real estate assets as collateral, his lawyers said Monday.

“It shocks the conscience that you have to pony up this type of money just to get someone to look at what you believe, and I believe, is an excessive ruling by this judge,” Turley concluded.
The theory in this filing is that Letita James lawsuit against Trump is an assault on the Rule of Law in America. If allowed to stand it will do irreparable damage to the faith and credit of the United States and therefore investors will look to other countries to make thier investments.

To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, here is a tale of financial shenanigans at the American Irish Historical Society, in which Trump-deranged New York Attorney General Letitia James is hoist by her own petard.
It involves a grand old building on Fifth Avenue, an unpaid loan, a fading family dynasty, a James Joyce theatrical production which almost ended in fisticuffs, and hypocrisy from the AG as obvious as a glass of green beer.
It all began when James Doyle, a wealthy Georgia businessman with a love of his Irish roots, joined the board of the nonprofit society, whose crown jewel is a rare Gilded Age mansion at 991 Fifth Ave., right across from Central Park and the Met.
Over the years, financial mismanagement and misfortune had befallen the society, and it was facing foreclosure. So in 2017, the board turned to Doyle for a $3 million loan, structured like a private mortgage. He was told that the Beaux-Arts townhouse was worth $80 million that included valuable air rights.
However, the society only made a few payments and Doyle soon found things weren’t quite as they seemed.

Letisha Mugabe is only harming the “full faith and credit” of New York.
Florida might be the only state that has legal grounds to act directly against New York, since Trump is a resident there. But even then, Florida would have to demonstrate that Trump has been harmed or impaired by the actions taken against his New York assets — which isn’t the case (yet).
A client of mine was involved in a similar case in a civil matter a few years ago. It started as a nuisance lawsuit in a real estate matter, but it got turned on its head when the defendant (my client) couldn’t sell the property because of the actions of the plaintiff. The case ended up with the DEFENDANT getting paid a sizable settlement as a result of the counter suit he filed.
Obviously this Communist action by New York is a mockery of the Rule of Law. If you wanted to have Florida sue New York what other arguments would you suggest?
They should use Tishies own words against her. The law she used, says, that the fine is to be used to make those who have been defrauded/wronged, whole again. She said, she will see that New Yorker’s are paid. So, she is saying New Yorker’s were harmed, and they need to be made whole. Make her show the evidence, that they were harmed.
1. The easiest course of action would be if Mugabe tried to seize or encumber any of Trump’s assets in Florida. I suspect she won’t touch them because that opens a can of worms that is out of her control.
2. The next possibility is a scenario where Trump is unable to complete a business deal in Florida because of actions Mugabe has taken against his properties in New York.
The important thing is that Trump really has to demonstrate a tangible loss of property or business opportunities outside New York before another state can get involved:
Maybe he should give them his Truth Social stock, then wreck the company.
I hate to be a wet blanket here however, I would be completely shocked of these demons don’t have a contingency plan for if he actually DOES come up with the money.
I’m thinking they will try to take the money and through some fabricated technicality still seize his property.
What’s to stop it?
Make no mistake, they ARE that corrupt and evil.
Because Trump is a former President could Florida sue New York because of the permanent damage it would do to the political process in America? Her case after all sets the precedent of torturing the law to break political opposition . Mugabe Letisha openly ran on doing what she has done. Turning America into a banana Republic is obviously going to hurt business deals in Florida.
Using a legal process to pursue claims involving totally subjective extrapolations of intangible “damages” related to political processes is a Terri le idea that will go nowhere.
Why isn’t there an emergency 4A appeal to the USSC bypassing the catch 22 NY appeals processes?
I don’t think these lawyers are doing a great job.
Can L. James and her accomplice judge seize any of Pres Trump’s properties in other states? I’ve read dozens of articles but don’t remember seeing that specifically addressed.
The articles mention ‘seize Trump properties’ thus implying that she can seize what ever he owns, wherever it is located no matter the state or even in foreign countries?
