I see several tented houses a year. Quite common in L.A.
Here, in Florida, they are used only for really bad infestations like millions of cockroaches or fleas...................
I like that a lot. When they try again well, oops.
They produce fake lease agreements and other such papers as to prove they belong there. They know what to say to cops and pretend to be the victims of tyrant landlords.
The NYC woman did what some here suggested and broke in to her own house and changed the locks while they were not home and she got arrested for breaking and entering!..................
That's what I heard.
Now they are asking people to invite the squatters in who will steal the house from you more easily. And guess who gets kicked to the curb?
Private property rights is a founding principle of our American constitutional Republic. Government is charged with protecting those rights. The cult members of the Democrat/Communist Party clearly do not support this essential right ... until they are personally affected ... at which time they scream like a ... well ... like the ignorant — and dangerous — democrat/communist they are.

What happens when 2 squatters claim rights to a house.
What happens if the owner rents to someone they know for $1.
Now you have 2 “renters”
If someone can claim squatters rights to an unoccupied car. Like to an unoccupied house. Cause I see hundreds of “unoccupied cars” in a parking lot right now…. Just saying…

good questions- I think the squatters have to be there a minimum of 30 days before they are moved from a classification of “Trespassers” to another term that ‘protects them from eviction until after a legal process is followed, ie court’ apparently in certain states
Yep- one of my questions was what would happen if a squatter moved in on someone who previously had squatted the home- woudl they go to court to see which squatter has ‘the right’ to be there until a court case calls for their eviction?
