There are a lot of ignorant blowhards in the mainstream media. However, for the early morning hours it is hard to top Joe Scarborough in the ignorant blowhard department. In the latest idiocy from Morning Joe, Scarborough piously proclaimed that "I've never really heard people discuss macroeconomics in terms of bloodbaths." Really Joe? Because as you can see in this video, "bloodbath" is a word quite frequently used in discussing macroeconomics.

In 1989 when the DOD was deactivating Pease AFB, I managed a near by cable TV company. I can assure you, when all of those air crews, maintenance, and staff left Dover…it was a bloodbath in terms of our subscriber counts and revenue per mile of cable.
