Flags at half staff... major announcement imminent... any guesses on what's going on? I believe the King may have passed.
William of Orange. Mary II was James II's daughter. They took over when Catholic James was chased out of England.
867~5309
Maybe Kate and William are splitting?
It was just leaked he has a wandering eye.
867-5309. I got her number on the wall. No wait that’s not right. No wonder she is pissed at me. You know what I was saying. Typing nazis. Phones suck for posting but if it makes you feel smug have at it. You’re just way to smart for me ….
Very good... and they were first cousins... William’s mother was a Stuart... sister of Charles and James...
Never heard of him. The group he was with was called Cockney Rebel. He was 73. I thought maybe he'd been knighted at some point, in order to have the flag at half-staff, but found nothing. He was just a simple bloke.
Just curious, why would you follow royal family news? You surely have better things to do.
LOL ... you sound triggered.
Better call Saul, since hope won’t take your call. 😂
Wow. You beat me. Promise I didn’t wee your post. Dang bro. Are you my conjoined twin?
That William was married to Mary the daughter of James II
James had been a Catholic so there was a search to find a suitable Protestant husband for Mary...
He was the Dutch William of Orange the the color in the Irish flag and I think theres an Orange County in NY etc...
BTW I wore orange to church today...
British Protestants dont wear green
I had a choice wear green for my Catholic 6th GGF McGinnis from County Armagh
Or do what Mum told me “We dont wear green”
:)
It all sounds very gay.
I’m guessing no on the twins thing, definitely not conjoined, because I just checked.
Never know. I can’t see what’s behind me. I last a 125 pounds riding my azz in the divorce but yet I can’t get that feeling to leave that someone is sill connected to my my brain. Just checking.
Any word about Prince Andrew? He’s been really depressed.
There’s also an Orange, Virginia which I assume is named after William of Orange. It’s not too far from James Madison’s home Montpellier.

Don't believe everything you see on the internet.
Still seems like a lot of smoke though...
Near Williamsburg ???
Not that close. Though I usually stop in Orange, Virginia on the way to Williamsburg. Route 15 runs through Orange.
In Roman Catholic Medieval Europe, couples that were within a certain degree of kinship needed Papal Dispensation in order to marry. Eleanor of Aquitaine for instance, her first husband was King Louis VII of France. They needed Papal Dispensation in order to marry. They had two daughters, and when Louis needed to get rid of her, in order to find someone to have sons with, he petitioned the Pope to annul the marriage, based on the fact that they were too closely related.
Then she married Henry II, and they were required to get a Papal Dispensation as well, because their kinship was close too.
From what I understand, even though Henry VIII set himself up as the Head of the Church of England, the Church still required dispensations. Henry had to get a dispensation to marry Jane Seymour, because they were both descended from the Plantagenets.
