Edward Johnson is a violent serial criminal who has been arrested and released 65 times.
His favorite crime is to assault female health care workers.
Instead of keeping violent serial criminals like him locked up, New York City has brought in the National Guard.
I do not understand the so-called “logic” behind this.
Why not just lock up the violent serial criminals like Edward Johnson?
Why bring in the National Guard for something that should be done by the local police, district attorney, and judges?
I don’t think the Natties are there to deter crime. I think they are there to deter an imminent and actionable attack.
I heard something yesterday about some dismembered body parts and that arrests had been made and the perps released already. WTAF? Guess more NYC effort needed to get OMB.

the national guard will undoubtedly be ordered to observe any violent crime but not engage the perps...unless it’s someone trying to help a victim by fighting off the attacker. they will be arrested for helping.

The goal of the elites, as with Covid, is to make things so bad that the general population welcomes random searches, restrictions on travel, restrictions on speech, military rule, etc.

How public safety matters are addressed in a dystopian society. Hint....the design is meant to only worsen the problem.
It certainly seems that the opportunity for violence is being escalated.
What orders could the NG possibly be under? Revolving-door criminals and criminal aliens are loose, on purpose. Are the NG supposed to hand over their weapons, or take a beating like the cops?

This is not about protecting victims. It is about State subjugation of victims.

It actually does. Makes perfect sense... when you consider that their agenda is to fundamentally transform the nation into a police state. And it’s working. The only thing in their way is a Trump presidency. And those troops will be there to handle any pesky “protests”, should any more election theft shenanigans occur in November.
Illegal aliens aren’t the problem, democrats are, because without the latter we wouldn’t have the former.

When your agenda is to implement full military communist government control over the subjects it makes perfect sense. This was the agenda all along, they just needed to create the reasons to justify it. Now they have soldiers policing just like the Nazis did. There will be credential checkpoints and stop and frisk before this is done.

Bottom line, the military will be a presence more and more going forward, I suspect. It’s how Marxists roll.
National Guard, wow. Why not just post a few hundred Bernie Goetz’s on the trains. Problem solved with minimal costs in hoses, water, and Clorox.
