Dems Address Migrant Issues [semi-satire]

In 2023 Venezuela reported 26.8 murders per 100,000 inhabitant. This was down from 35.3 the previous year. A possible explanation is that the surge in illegal migration from Venezuela to the US included a contingent of criminals in its midst. This past week, Jose Antonio Ibarra, an illegal immigrant from Venezuela, was arrested for murdering Laken Riley, a student studying nursing at the University of Georgia. Last summer, Ibarra was arrested in New York City for "acting in a manner to injure a child," but was immediately released under the City's sanctuary policy toward illegal migrants.

NYC Mayor Eric Adams (D) questioned the sanctuary regime he inherited when he was elected, saying "if the rules hadn't forced us to release Ibarra Ms. Riley might not have been killed. Maybe we shouldn't be allowing people who are repeatedly committing crimes to roam free. Maybe people who commit felonies or violent acts should be deported."

Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) said "my approach is different. We should not even be talking about crimes being committed by migrants. The vast majority of them are law-abiding citizens. They came here for a better life and I want to ensure that they get it. My plan is to put these newcomers at the front of the line for state government jobs. Since many of these immigrants are illiterate we're going to eliminate the requirements to pass the civil service exam and have a high school diploma before going on the payroll."

Biden campaign manager Jennifer Brigid O'Malley Dillon said "it's racist to say that immigrant crime is rising. The murder of Laken Riley is only a tiny bubble in the crime wave that is sweeping over this country. Natural born citizens are committing far more murders than immigrants. We're putting the newcomers up in hotels, giving them money, free phones, and other stuff. We think this has been very effective in decreasing their need to commit crimes. Deeds like those of Mr. Ibarra are the rare exception that proves President Biden's policies are working."

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas denied that "our catch-and-release is to blame for Ms. Riley's or anyone else's death. The fact is that there are far more indigenous killers on the loose than the few immigrants who are. The odds are that a lone female jogger will probably be murdered by a citizen. Any woman's healthiest choice would be to not venture outside her home without being accompanied by a male relative."

We’re NOT talking about law-abiding citizens. We’re talking about lawbreaking invaders. They broke the law to get in. They continue breaking laws during their illegal stay.

The lawless left refuses to even acknowledge the distinction between those who are here legally and those who are not. If someone is a citizen, deportation is not a remedy to their crimes. For non-citizens who entered illegally or overstayed their visas, deportation is not a good punishment for those who commit crimes, it is an excellent deterrent against crime being committed in the first place.

Democrats, through their lawlessness, are the enablers of rape, human trafficking, and all manner of evil and violent crimes committed by those who should never have been here in the first place.

First of all, NO, it isn’t. Facts aren’t racist. Second, This 4-part name person does what lying democrats always do: LIE. It is a LIE to claim we are talking about “migrants” as we are talking about illegal invaders and visa overstayers. You know, law breakers, by definition.

Third, doesn’t matter if “immigrant” (left’s lying term for illegal invaders) crime is “rising”, declining, or staying the same. Immigration law MUST be enforced and American citizens’ rights protected. Lawless Democrats refuse to do this.

She says without evidence. Again, she’s switching the subject and comparing apples and oranges. THEY say don’t talk about immigrants... and then they talk about immigrants. But they ONLY want to talk about immigrants and not what we are talking about: illegal invaders and visa overstayers.

There is no data to suggest that natural-born citizens commit more murders than immigrants. Normal comparisons are made per capita, but even if we tracked the raw numbers (again, where is her data) her claim is quite questionable.

But when we discuss illegal invaders, as opposed to the “immigrants” they want to talk about but “we” should not talk about, there is no comparison.

Further, even if her statistics were true, it makes no difference. We know that car-jackings, armed robberies, drive-bys, and other violent crimes are also due to Democrat failed policies. They’re happening more wherever Democrats are in charge.

And even violent illegal invaders can’t compete with Democrats on violent crime when we include the Democrat bloodlust for killing babies. But that’s another issue.

Ok. This must be the “satire” part of the article. No Democrat would utter these words. Well, unless it’s a Muslim Democrat. But I did not find any source for this quote. Some of the other quotes are real though.
