The Supreme Court on Wednesday laid out a hearing schedule on former President Donald Trump's claims of presidential immunity that raises significant doubts that the election interference case against him will go to trial before the 2024 election. Former Justice Department prosecutor Andrew Weissmann discusses.

There is another name that pops up like a bad penny. Like other names such as Victoria Nuland, Mark Elias, David Brock, and Lisa Monaco.
weissman sounds a little light in the loafers shall we say
Regardless of his personal life, if you please, he says Supreme Court gives Trumpp a win
Like they’re in the business of giving?
As if they’re corrupt, free of judgment, bribed? What?
Do these people say things like tge Supreme Court gave Dems, libs, Biden a win? Or do they say a Biden case has merit as the Supreme Court shows us
thanx red.
adding to my watch list
Ask Sidney Powell about him.
Kind of speaks volumes as to the Democrat lawfare strategy.
He doesn’t care about fairness or even the legal issue of immunity- only the political aspect of putting Trump n a courtroom at the peak of the campaign season.
Weissman is clearly crushed on an emotional level and is lashing out at the people (SCOTUS) he thinks are giving Trump quarter.
It figures Weissman would quote Judge Luttig’s inappropriate, disingenuous brief. Luttig, Weissman are both in favor of eliminating Trump from our polity “by any means necessary” (i.e., they are hard core Communists). Hence, they think, Trump is not entitled to due process.

Just daydreaming here. I wonder how large of a hard labor penal colony we’d need to incarcerate them all. I’m thinking outdoors (either Alaska, or Arizona desert) — tents for dwelling — plenty of rocks to break — plenty of armed+K-9 dogs... Or maybe a big Supermax super-sensory-deprivation prison would be more appropriate... like I said, just indulging in a pleasant daydream.
Andrew Weissman is as corrupt as they come and pure evil:
Why Mueller Left Four Innocent People in Jail in the Whitey Bulger Case
May 14, 2019
Excerpt:
The lead investigator for Mueller is a guy named Andrew Weissmann, who participated in the Enron task force, and every conviction he got was overturned by the Supreme Court in some measure because of prosecutorial misconduct. The same people ran the Ted Stevens case, which was also thrown out. After he had been found guilty, these same lawyers suborned perjury of their star witness, a contractor in Alaska. Ted Stevens was thrown out of office for supposedly accepting $150,000 in free remodeling work at his home, and the FBI agents looking into the…
Well, the prosecutors got the contractor to lie, and Ted Stevens was convicted. And it was found out that the contractor had been told to lie. He had been told to “recite”… That’s the word, the prosecutors said, “Recite what we want you to say” rather than “testify.”

Trump Tests Gag Order Again, Attacks ‘Team of Losers and Misfits’ Trying to ‘Take Me Down’: ‘Will End Up… In a Mental Institution’
Isaac SchorrNov 13th, 2023,
Excerpt:
“Deranged Jack Smith, Andrew Weissmann, Lisa Monaco, the ‘team of losers and misfits’ from CREW, and all the rest of the Radical Left Zealots and Thugs who have been working illegally for years to ‘take me down,’ will end up, because of their suffering from a horrible disease, TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME (TDS!), in a Mental Institution by the time my next term as President is successfully completed. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” wrote Trump on Truth Social.
Weissmann and ever single trump hater who doesn’t see Trump as the winner he is are in for a very bad year of disappointments. Followed by more of the same
This case is a win win for Trump. It has no merit my so he’ll win it in a non corrupt court. It is precedent for the lack of presidential immunity for any other former president’s criminal activity. And people make a mistake going all the way to Hilary pretending Trump has a criminal history. He most certainly does not
Liberal tears in the morning make for a good day!
Trump has a long history of consistently and continuously being on the correct side of the legal “line”, shall we say.
He’s really very smart and knows where the line is at all times
Precisely! Had the same thought listening to Weissman emote.
May this trickle turn into a holy flood.
If Andrew Weissmann is upset, that means something good has happened for America.
“ Trump has a long history of consistently and continuously being on the correct side of the legal “line”, shall we say.
He’s really very smart and knows where the line is at all times”
Sigh. If you have to put it that way
Trump and his people his parents also his education they do not have a criminal nature
Nuthin’ like havin’ an IRA terrorist Muslim convert running the biggest, baddest spook agency in world history.
Completely consistent with a country founded by White Anglo-Saxon Protestants who were even more radically protestant then their overlords.
Completely.
