What’s an Avdeevka?
A vodka soaked armadillo. They can’t hold their liquor.
Also spelled Avdiivka, and various other spellings and mispellings. It’s the town that Ukraine has used to shelled Donetsk and inflicted large numbers of civilian casualties for years, making it a priority target of late in the war in Ukraine.
Avdeevka is a variant spelling of Avdiivka. This town has been a major focus of Russian attack as a potentiel entry point further into Ukraine territory. Russia has been attacking it intently as they did last year at Bakhmut, where the Wagner forces lost so many men that their founder and former Putin friend, Prigozhin, got mad and attacked Moscow. Putin’s goal is to have this attack completed in time to list it as a great victory on Feb. 24th when he celebrates the second anniversary of his great NOT WAR on Ukraine.
Having seen all the support Putin and Russsia have been receiving here on FR lately, I begin to wonder to what extent Putin/Russia may have been influencing people within our own Congress. After all it takes a lot of money to win a political campaign.
