This makes little sense to me. A binder that has all kinds of highly classified data of a coordinated effort by the CIA, Obama, and the FBI. The FBI raids Mar-a-Lago to find it.
They can’t find it but Trump may have it... Think about that. If he has it, doesn’t disclose that and it’s found then there’s more trouble for him. If bits and pieces are used during a trial, then they know he has it.
All the info in that binder you can bet is on computers somewhere because you have to print it out to make the binder.
If the Trump legal team demands that data be available for trial then the FBI admits it has the highly classified data
coordinated effort by the CIA, Obama, and the FBI.
Makes no sense.
Also, if you are going to arrange a highly illegal and anti-American coup plot against a President, who would put it on paper?
From all my years in mil-intel....everything exists on a server or HD somewhere, as long as it was produced after the late 1990s.
However, I could imagine a situation where some internal audit was done (in several ways) to explain where pieces and parts of a operation existed. So this audit...maybe 40-different reports bundled into one binder for easy reading purposes has come to exist.
My question...if this were existing in Langley...who removed it? I can’t see a WH member doing it. This might be more curious to know...who brought it out, and handed it to Trump.
I would also offer another scenario. What if Trump had a fake binder (the whole time), never realizing the game or value? I’m suggesting a 3rd party in this game....waiting to drop the binder and create a massive amount of chaos.
My understanding is that the government (CIA, FBI) has the information. It's not like they need to get their hands on information.
The goal, I believe, it to get the document OUT of the hands of Trump. It's too dangerous. Too useful for Trump. If he wants to expose the Deep State, that binder is extremely helpful for Trump. So the FBI raided Trump to get the binder away from him.
They may ALSO want to indict him for having it in his possession, but the primary goal isn't to "get him" for holding a classified document. The goal is to get it away from him so he can't sink them with it.
