The GOP Senators had no choice, if the agree with the military aid offerings, because there is not going to be any Senate bill on the border, because the Dims will never participate in a Border bill that the GOP should accept. The military aid bills and any border bills should be standalone bills, not conjoined. We did it in the House with an aid to Israel bill. The only reason that bill didn’t pass was procedural - how the bill got to the floor vote - which required a 2/3 majority to pass.

They subvert the constitution by deleting all the text in a spending bill sent over from the house. Then they insert there own text into it. That is what I understand. No doubt they did that here. They are all lawless.

Well, Todd Young is working hard to replace Lugar as the Democrat's favorite RINO senator.
Everyone was expected a big Red Wave in the midterms. His votes with the democrats just prior to the mid-terms--helped to give Biden and the democrats huge wins--helping ensure that there would be no Red wave.
