Hello, the drug companies are following the military industrial complex business model!

There's no money in peace and healthy people.

It really is a good thing that we have a weak military at this point in time with these insane psychopaths in charge.

"But a Military Industrial Complex, as President Eisenhower warned, is bad..."

That's not what Ike warned. In fact, Ike acknowledged the MIC was necessary. What Ike warned about was that without scrupulous oversight it would come to exercise undue influence on politics and policy, and certainly that has come to pass.

I believe that if we took just half of the national Homeless Industrial Complex $$$ and added it to the military, there would be much more deterrence.

Like the government indoctrination centers (public schools), much of the money allocated to the homeless does never reaches and helps.

After the Republicans took over the House of Representatives in 1994, Welfare to Work began. I was part of a private company assisting people to find jobs. We interfaced, or tried to interface, with the local welfare offices in each county. The welfare offices in the blue states absolutely HATED us ‘intervening’ in their business. For every person on their caseload who obtained a job, there was one less person who needed assistance. As their caseloads shrunk, their animosity toward us increased. Instead of handing out checks and benefits every month, thus keeping their clients tethered to the welfare system, these county employees might actually have to think outside of their box.

Good article. Thank you. A good dose of reality in it. The lack of very many posts is telling. It shows there is a mental block against reality.

Trump did not “rebuild the military.”

Trump DID stand up for the military, but both he and our countryment were betrayed by the WOKE culture war “leadership” prevailing in the military.

Trump must choose good leaders instead of the WOKE “leaders” in his up-coming administration.
