Every person I know who has voiced an interest in Nikki Haley has been a Democrat who clarifies their support as “I really like her, but... I’m probably going to vote for the Democrat in November anyway” and wouldn’t dare actually pull the lever for her when it matters.
I say give them a chance to put their money where their mouth is.

She’ll be considered the 2028 Republican front runner as soon as this election is over. The question is whether she calculates that she can help or hurt herself for 2028 by endorsing Trump after he locks up the nomination.
