Does the US even need a DOT?

“For Christie that picture of him on the beach, during Covid, while everybody else had to stay home was the fork, I think.”

No. It was the picture of him on the boardwalk with Obama. He’s been done since then he just never accepted it. Still doesn’t.

He lost me when he hugged Obama like he was a big fuzzy Care Bear.

Vivek is apparently a very wealthy man. He also has skills, not just in speaking, and apparently a formidable work ethic. He was apparently ubiquitous all over Iowa.

A lot of “apparently” there, but TBD.

The one US politician who came from a nonpolitical background to a dominating position, almost instantly, is Trump. That I can think of.

How laughably shallow.

Many of us, including myself, were suspicious of Trump until he won the nomination. For us, once he won the nomination and started to campaign against Hillary was when started supporting Trump.

I’m glad I was wrong about Trump and I’d love to be wrong about Vivek, but I would have to see more from him to be convinced.

I don’t think I’m being shallow at all. I’m just not as easily influenced by somebody’s presentation than others. I’m more willing to be convinced by Joe Smith the plumber, whose held his positions for years than a shiny suit who comes out of nowhere and receives a ton of time on the media.

Vivek - Cabinet post as Office of Management and Budget

He said he’d gut the government bureaucracy and spending. Let Trump give him the post and see what happens.

And so the question remains: Will DeSantis go back to Florida to govern?

Those other two have spoken just like Never Trumpers.... so WHO wants them?

They made common cause with the DNC which has done nothing but challenge President Trump, personally. Some campaign!!

I think it was Margaret Thatcher who said, ‘When they can't defeat your policies, they attack you personally.’

Like a Black Hole. Can’t see it but you know it’s there by the gravity from its tremendous mass.

Trump is dangerous but only to those who oppose him and the MAGA agenda.

Vivek has that Gen Z smile that I’ve grown to hate.

He’s also incredibly arrogant. Earlier in the evening, I saw where he said he would fire 3/4 of federal employees with no thought of the disruption to the country and economy that would cause. I agree a good housecleaning is in order, but 3/4? Really?

Another time, I saw him state that it was ok for Ukraine to give up their occupied land to Russia. Irrespective of one’s position on that war (and I am not stating that here), who the he!! does he think he is to determine how much land another country should have?

Problem is he may be qualified for that position, but like many in trumps last administration his main focus will be being another Brutus

I have one criticism of Trump, his picking of people, though I cut him some slack for not understanding how wide the swamp was, and that most in dc have no care for the country, the law, or its people.

Dc exists for dc, most of the media are just useful idiots at best
And a majority of the people would have no idea what is best for them if it hit them in the head
