To get a sense of why conspiracy theories centered on sex trafficking and pedophilia — and now the “Epstein list” — are so buzzy in MAGA circles, POLITICO Magazine called up Mike Rothschild, author of The Storm Is Upon Us: How QAnon Became a Movement, Cult, and Conspiracy Theory of Everything and Jewish Space Lasers: The Rothschilds and 200 Years of Conspiracy Theories.
Rothschild pointed to a toxic stew of age-old antisemitism; the worst incentives of today’s social media; and the right’s unending obsession with Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Donald Trump pops up in the documents, including some released on Monday, but that’s typically not a problem for his hard-core supporters. As with most conspiracy theories, adherents create their own reality.
“There’s nothing Trump can do that will lose these people’s loyalty,” Rothschild said. “Anything that is inconvenient, that alters their worldview, they’ll just ignore it, or they’ll make up some bizarre justification for it.”

Don’t think sex trafficking is left or right, it’s a serious crime and morally repugnant. That is, unless some folks think selling children( etc) is okay.

The newest Epstein information consists of allegations of sex tapes of big name public figures with females under the age of 18, but above the age of 14.
Nobody will ever see these nonexistent tapes because if they did see them, they’d be viewing child porn and would be committing a crime.
Everything about the Epstein story is a bunch of made up Anglo-American Establishment BS.
The Question of “Epstein didn’t kill himself” is hilarious, in itself.
Of course he didn’t kill himself, he entered a witness protection program and has a new identity.... just like a mob movie.
Bringing justice to torturers of children has been the normal thing to do, forever.
No one seems to mention the age of consent in the U.S. Virgin Islands is 13, (rape of course and trafficking not lawful).
I wonder if that is going to be a factor in the whole Epstein island trials. He likely picked that area for this reason.

The left doesn't think so as this article plainly shows. They can't understand why people think it's morally repugnant and don't think it should be a crime.

Doesn’t matter what age of consent is there. US law makes it illegal for a US citizen to travel to engage in sex with someone under 18
