The narrative that climate change constitutes a dire threat to life is being challenged by science. Patrick Moore, chairman and chief scientist of Ecosense Environmental and co-founder of Greenpeace, contends that "the message of doom isn't based on facts. There is actually no scientific evidence that CO2 is responsible for climate change over the eons. The reality is that 150 million years ago CO2 was somewhere between 2,000 and 2,500 parts per million (ppm). Today, CO2 is around 420 ppm. CO2 is essential for the plant life that produces the oxygen that humans and animals need to live."
John Christy, climatologist and professor of atmospheric science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and the director of the Earth System Science Center points out that "weather-related deaths and climate disasters have declined over the years. In 1925, there were 484,880 climate-related deaths worldwide. In 2020 there were 14,893 climate-related deaths worldwide. This trend does not support the idea that government needs to impose harsh measures in an effort to reduce CO2 emissions."
Malgosia Askanas, senior research and development associate at Aurora Biophysics Research Institute, called the UN's demand that countries cut CO2 emissions as close to zero as possible by 2050, "collective suicide. The earth's climate has a wide natural variability and is currently in a gradual warming phase. It is CO2 that enables the growth of crops that will avert famine."
Michael Regan, Administrator of the United States Environmental Protection Agency, refuted these allegations by pointing out "President Biden has committed this country to meeting the UN's objective of reducing our CO2 emissions to zero by 2050. He is the democratically elected decider of the United States who is responsible for the well-being of the American people. Moore, Christy, and Askanas are not. We must not let them jar us off course in this vital battle for the soul of America."

When I hear people like him speak out, I listen. He knows those people. He was one of them. For much the same reason, when David Horowitz speaks out, I listen to him, and for the same reasons.
If the earth’s global temperatures started to suddenly plummet over a period of 10 years and they convened some huge scientific conference of the top minds in the field, I can GUARANTEE you that the they would NOT suggest that we start burning a bunch of “fossil fuels” because it is the most efficient way to increase CO2.
That is because they all know damned well that CO2 isn’t a significant greenhouse gas, and it’s presence in the atmosphere is temporary at best.
Their hypocrisy would be revealed.
What they really oppose is cheap energy that is also not conducive to monopolization (and globalist control)
“Deforestation of the Amazon rainforest in Brazil has surged to its highest level since 2008, the country’s space agency (Inpe) reports.
A total of 11,088 sq km (4,281 sq miles) of rainforest were destroyed from August 2019 to July 2020. This is a 9.5% increase from the previous year.”
Say, doesn’t this accelerate Global Warming because all those trees absorb CO2
CO2 has nothing to do with heat and they’re mixing Weather and Climate
I missed the semi satire part. NASA has provided satellite data showing that the earth has greened 10% since the satellite era began, and they attribute it in part to higher CO2 level in the atmosphere.
Here’s the semi-satire part...
Michael Regan, Administrator of the United States Environmental Protection Agency, refuted these allegations by pointing out “President Biden has committed this country to meeting the UN’s objective of reducing our CO2 emissions to zero by 2050. He is the democratically elected decider of the United States who is responsible for the well-being of the American people. Moore, Christy, and Askanas are not. We must not let them jar us off course in this vital battle for the soul of America.”
The political dictates of Biden in no way refute the scientific evidence that CO2 is essential for life on Earth and is not proven to be the cause of global warming.
