The idea of paying for cable was that there wouldn’t be ads.
Then the ads came, but there was around five minutes of ads for an hour of content.
Then it went to ten minutes for a half hour.
In 2023, there are now ten minutes of ads for every ten minutes of content.
What was a 90 minute movie is now strung out to three hours on a channel.

I have a Firestick, I am migrating my preferences to Roku for the interim and looking at the alternatives mentioned above.
I pay for my 88-year-old parents Netflix account. I will keep that because she watches cooking and sewing shows and my father watches military movies/shows.

“Amazon has been a lifesaver when I could not find certain parts in stores that I could only get on Prime.”
Why is Prime necessary to find items on Amazon? I don’t get it.

My nephew is an executive with that company.
Tell him a guy at Free Republic says to cancel the gay commercials! 😁
That side of the family are fully-engulfed LibTards. Their eldest daughter (36) still lives at home and works at the local Apple Store as and waitress. She has a Masters in Music.
The nephew works for Pluto. I have not spoken to him in over 25 years.
I want to make some changes due to the stupid costs. But not during Basketball Season. After March Madness is over — then I can deal with it.
