In his commentary, “Crazy Stuff—Fabricated Details of Western Oil Sanctions Against Russia,” Sundance over on the The Last Refuge casts light onto the fabricated reality we are living in. The West and America are now as the Soviet Union had been—existing in a fabricated reality behind an iron curtain:

The iron curtain symbolizes the capture of minds by dark powers who control and inform the mind of Big Brother, thus, the fabricated reality consists of circles within circles. At the heart of the circle is Big Brother, the spinner and weaver of the fabricated reality.

Back in the 1970s, my father's brother, a brilliant man, told me that one day the USA could go the way of the Roman Republic.
I believed him but could not imagine how it could happen. The USA was so strong, the social fabric so solid with integrity, the American People so vigorous, the entire nation so healthy and ascendant.
Today the USA, the social fabric, the American People, and the entire nation have been dangerous weakened by Americans with weak minds and morality and by cunning enemies enabled by them. Today I understand.
When the computer and notably the internet ushered in the Information Age, I was jubilant though naive. I thought they would bring a golden age to all the world as truth and education enlightened all the people of the world.
I overlooked the axiom that there is a dark side to everything.
The people of the world have been brainwashed.
The evil have been empowered, and their propaganda has herded the people of the world into accepting the most obvious and outrageous absurdities, e.g. that
men can give birth,and into welcoming Orwell's nightmare.defecation on public sidewalks is not a health hazard,
obvious political corruption and election fraud are illusion,
antisemitism can raise its hideous head in 21st century America and be accepted as normal by the intelligentsia,
an invading army is welcomed in America and even given free health care and luxurious hotel accommodations,
war is peace,
love is hate,
freedom is slavery,
Today I understand how naziism became estabished in 1930s Germany, how Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot were able to seize power and commit unspeakable atrocities.
Today I understand how Orwell's nightmare can become reality.
Today I understand decadence all too well. The Decadence of Western Civilization is Orwell's nightmare.

Ha! We may have done some good. “Linda Kimball” is no longer listed as the writer on this post, though it does have a copyright @linda at the bottom of it. More than that, the approximate half of articles listed under her name at the site that were cut and pastes of CT/Sundance articles are no longer listed there. And the other FR post I had linked to up on comment 6 has been pulled. There were other similar articles with the same sponsor here, so I’d guess they’ve been pulled as well.

Let’s pray that TRUTH, intellectual and moral clarity, and ascendancy will reach the deluded before it’s too late, and that America will be saved.
It’s already too late.

That was my view as well in my college days during that period.
Almost all of the professors were insane leftists even back then—there was no way that could end well.
