Instead of punishing the serial criminals who repeatedly vandalized a public garden, Seattle is closing the garden. What kind of a message does that send?

"Instead of punishing the serial criminals who repeatedly vandalized a public garden, Seattle is closing the garden. What kind of a message does that send?"The message is that Seattle city government officials are still giving aid and comfort to the domestic and foreign enemies of the United States.

I have a frat bro who lives in Seattle. He did a video of the CHAZ area during the unrest to show that it was not as the media portrayed it. Everyone pointed out that the area was trashed. He couldn’t see it. To him, that was normal.

It tells you a lot that state govt is using tax dollars to foster failure, failed cultures, adverse behaviors, mediocrity, etc.
State govt choosing to subsidize cultural ruination is a curious aspiration; dismantling cultural norms when they should be building them up.
We once used tax dollars to advance actions, behaviors that serve to enhance culture, into a civilization that rewards success.
Those who cannot aspire that high should just get out of the dam way.

Maybe since the criminals are attacking all aspects of American life we should just close the government.

Government can afford to be blind to problems and real solutions after all they are using our money.
The mentally ill are stopped from getting real help and are allowed to roam the streets, the average citizen has to shut up and take the consequences, systems breakdown and will fail.

"Hellhole countries don’t have beautiful public gardens..."Not so ironicaly, it was a 'blm' garden that turned into the usual
 illiberal outhouse and garbage dump.

To: grundle
A more sane government could turn the garden into a garbage transfer station.

The message to me is to get out of Seattle. Sane citizens are leaving blue cities and states - places that are turning into hellholes.

Well, then, turn it into either a homeless encampment or refugee center for invaders.
They can send a message to Gov. Abbott to head some of the buses their way, as many as possible.
