"What gave it away for me, was the fair & balanced claim.
That was nothing more than a push to allow the opposing view to filter in."

I have no problem at all with "fair and balanced", that's what journalism should be.

I have a huge problem with passive-aggressive opposition, which is what Fox did last night to Donald Trump.
In Water's perfectly "fair and balanced" presentation of Biden's & Trump's weekend public appearances, he showed dimentia-Joe shuffling around Nantucket with his Secret Service and "Free Palestine" protestors shouting at him.

Contrast, 100% fair and balanced, to Trump's appearance at the Palmetto Bowl half time, with the packed stadium crowd roaring.
That should have been the story, but instead Fox replaced Trump's appearance with commercials, only to return with a discussion about it, not the actual scene itself full screen.

I call that passive-aggressive opposition, by somebody, maybe not even Waters himself, maybe just some faceless bureaucrat in the Fox News organization.

Old man shouts at cloud... ;-)

I prefer reporting the facts, period. There is no need for news to cover social issues, because that is where personal opinions creep in. Which is what you get with fair & balanced, personal opinions.
