Just before his passing, Rush Limbaugh delivers one of the most accurate and compelling accounts of the true Thanksgiving story that you've ever heard... Be grateful.
And MANY of us miss those wonderful Rush Limbaugh Show threads you used to post every day! Thank you so much for all the wonderful years you gave us. I made some good FRiends on that daily thread.
I'm thankful for FRiends like you -- whose efforts gave us such great pleasure over many years. :-)
These days I often listen to music, Rob Carson or nothing between noon and 3pm.
I like Boston-based Howie-Carr from 3-6pm. I listen to local WTIC 1080 AM talk show hosts on and off. (50,000 watt radio station based in Hartford, CT - used to be the big Rush station in CT)
Podcasts are all the rage now, and some are OK. There's nothing like live radio though, with the host reacting to live breaking news. Nobody did it better than Rush.

Could you please let me know specifically what you mean by that? I don't see where you can change the page number in the URL address box. Do I have to create an account with archive.org to do that? Thanks again!
It was fun and a pleasure for me to help out. I remember 300-400+ people on the thread — I remember you being there — and those were fun afternoons. Then, I posted the Mark Levin Show at 6pm. Heady days on FR.
Heck, I put this old paging number system in, and it reverts back to what we’re seeing now; they’ve condensed all 17pgs into a single site. Amazing. 5,731 shows available! No need to change pages numbers, as we used to have to do.
I used to listen to Howie years ago, but have tapered off since retiring and getting busier than I was when I owned and ran a multi-mullion dollar Sub-S Corp, for 23yrs. (Just kidding!) I’ll have to listen to some of his later podcasts. Thanks for the “Howie reminder”.
His show isn’t as interesting as it once was. Dull
I’ll have a listen and see if he’s as good as he was.
Tempus fugit...
Daily, I listen the Chris Stigall Show, 6-9am on 990 AM, and the Chris Plante Show on DC’s 105.9 WMAL FM and if I miss either of their shows, catch the podcasts later in the day, on either their stations or on iHeart.
They sure were fun afternoons... I really miss your threads. I would be on it right now if our beloved El Rushbo was still here.
You mean Howie Carr? Yeah, it depends on the day and what's going on in the news. He can be entertaining though.
Bottom line: Of course NO ONE is / was as good as Rush Limbaugh. I miss him tremendously.
So just use your link and scroll down on that one page for 5,731 of Rush's shows?
For some reason, I kept only seeing shows from 2006... ?
Thanks again. :-)
LOL
Thanks for the reminder on Chris Plante’s show. Glad he has a podcast. I’m not familiar with Chris Stigall.
I still remember him commenting on how the left would still be going after Trump even after he gets out of office. He also said they would be going after ANYONE who even remotely associated with him. All to show any outsider who dares to take the path Trump took that they will do everything in their power to destroy them.
And once again, he was spot on.
Damn I miss him.
Yes, once again, Rush was spot on. I had forgotten he said that... thank you for that reminder!
I miss him terribly every day... Miss his voice.
