While I have no doubt that Myanmar is run poorly, I think this is just another front of on an undeclared world war.

Poorly? It’s as bad as North Korea. After that last big Typhoon cruised through the Myanmar govt would not allow any foreign organization or govt to send in relief supplies or workers. They kept the borders strictly closed, greatly increasing the death toll.
